We couldnt get these plugs to stay connected to the app despite updates, reinstalling etc. It would upair and totally remove the device. These were returned within hours of receiving, they were that bad.

Could not get the plugs to link up to the app. I returned the item.

I have many floor lamps and devices which I need to control from my phone. These smart plugs work perfectly and get the job done. The only problem I faced is that I have Verizon Fios 5g and 2g networks setup at home and these plugs only work if my phone is on 2g network. But so far this has not been a big problem.

The first plug I tried would not connect to the network. The next one worked perfectly. I have not tried the other 2 yet.

Tried to pair each one of the box of 4 with no success. I used both methods suggested in the instructions (Ez & AP) several times with no joy. I even rebooted my router and switched off 5Ghz wireless. No luck. Fail.

They break down and stop working with your home system usually by the time they are out of warranty. I have 6 round my house and I have had to replace 4 so far. I emailed Teckin the first time. They asked when and where I bought them. They said it was out of warrant and I had to deal with Amazon. By the time the 4th unit broke down I wrote a review on Amazon. Teckin reached out and asked me a multitude of questions over four emails. This was their response Based on your current description, this may be a hardware failure inside the socket. According to your situation, if your socket is still within the warranty period, please contact Amazon directly for a refund. I thought maybe they would stand behind their product and send replacements and I would be happy to send mine back for their review but NO. MY suggestion is to buy another brand. Update. July 1,2022 and another one failed today. They just keep dropping one by one. Really, dont buy Teckin

Don’t work. Takes forever to set up to just not work at all after a couple days of use

I ordered this plug because it claimed to be compatible with the Smart Life app. It was, and I was connected up with my router very quickly. However, I found out that the wifi reception on this plug was very short in compare to other brands. I kept on getting offline indication when I used it in the kitchen while my router was in the study in a relatively small house. (Note: none of my cell phones or other electronic gadgets had problem with that distance.) I finally had to swab out with a plug of another brand, and install this one in the study, the same room where the wifi router was located.

This product did not work as intended. It would not connect to wifi and you have to use some program separate from Google home to even get it to work. I do not recommend this.
