Its a bit tight around the New 3DS XL. Reason I mention this is because after removing the slip on and off a few times Im afraid it might ruin the paints finish. I would have liked it more if it had a handle instead of the carbine loop or just have both because i feel it will rip with all the weight inside. Why would you want it flopping around anyways on a carbine hook? Minus one star.

Just got a new DS and needed this. Very nice.

The case was made well and has room for the ds, charger, games, and some other small things like in-ear headphones. The pocket for the ds is soft and quality material that doesnt scratch. Worth the purchase.

My new 3ds xl fits perfectly in this case. I feel like it protects it very well.
