They seem to be ok but I havent used them yet. Bought to use with a motorcycle rack.

The package comes with 6 loops that work great holding my Boulevard C90T in place in the trailer. This bike weighs over 800 lbs. and loops dont leave a mark on the bike.

We use these to tie down our kayaks to the cars roof top rack, fore and aft. I pop the engine hood, slip a loop over the hood safety brace rod and leave the other end out after I close the hood. The we tie a line from the kayak bow to the other loop and tighten up. With the loops soft material it doesnt scratch or mar the cars paint. I have seen several people walk by the car when this is rigged and take pictures. I also use a second loop on the hitch so we can tie down the stern, makes it easy to release the stern line when we want to open the back hatch. They are right when they say its soft material, it is - and strong. Would recommend, at least for the application we use it for.

Great stuff, easy to use especially on older bikes(1968 Electra Glide. Appreciate the price too.
