This tape measure is perfect for measuring myself for BMI calculations because not only am I a glutton, I am also a glutton for punishment. This tape wasted no time in telling me my waist size accurately and while I was not pleased by the news it was at least truthful. I was pretty angry at first and contemplated leaving a negative review but after sleeping on it I realized at age 63 it’s never too late to take personal responsibility for something. So yes, this is a good quality, accurate, durable and easy to use measuring tape. Now I am going to order a crying towel while I am here. I will be sure to report back on its efficacy, etc.

Some people are saying that the lines are off a bit. However theyre measuring from the metal cap and when it shows its off by an 1/8th inch or so, to me thats not a big deal. As long as the actual inch marks are right. So if the metal part makes it a bit too long, you can just subtract that error off of your total. So who cares. Mine happened to be accurate with the metal cap. I compared the whole length off of a tape measure, and by the end of the 60 inches the product was short by about 1/16th. So not that bad.
