Overall mostly satisfied with this. The picture quality is good. I use it to see critters that come visit our bird feeder during the night. Raccoons, Skunks, Possum, Fox, Deer have all made an appearance. For that, I get a notification that motion was detected, pull the video from the server (not the camera) and download it if I like. The motion detection seems a little slow; rather, the thing maintains motion detection, senses something and *then* turns on the camera. The camera isnt actually on al the time. The video I get usually starts with the creature already in the middle of the picture. Some videos are nothing, as the creature ran through before the camera started up. Sometimes I want to watch the feed live, and that is where this falls down. Apparently using the wifi at the same time as the camera is active pulls most of the energy available from the battery. Try to turn the camera using on-screen controls and I can literally watch the data rate for the stream drop to nothing. Using the camera, streaming it over wifi, and trying to turn the camera is a recipe to at a minimum loose the connection; I think sometimes the voltage may drop enough it has to reboot. if I move the camera in little spurts the data feed stays active. The more often I move it, or if I hold down the button to rotate the camera 90 degrees I will loose data connection around 45 degrees of movement. The controls seem to keep working. Ill reconnect and the camera will be in some odd position from me hitting the controls to get a response. I use this is at night; during the day I put it in sleep mode and let the solar panel charge it. The solar has charged it to 100% from the ~50% it shipped with. Took about two weeks, but that is fine considering cloudy weather. This is spring, so not full summer sun, but not low winter sun either. Battery seems big enough for me to operate for several weeks if the weather got bad enough the solar charging didnt work. Had this almost a month, and just had to go out and turn it off and back on; just completely lost connection and it wouldnt reconnect.

The night vision is great. Got quite picture of 2 racoons.

I ordered the camera to keep an eye out around the house while vacationing, leaving our high school student alone for a few days, first time ever. (I used USB power, not solar.) The camera HW and it’s app SW were all easily installed and immediately functional on my two separate devices (iPhone and iPad). There is sufficient granularity in the rotation angles for controlling the camera head. Most impressive was the delivery on and access to high resolution, especially noticeable when using the intuitive finger-spread-to-zoom feature to zoom in on details. E.g., from 20’ away, no problem to tell that the front door was left unlocked (and then deal with that situ remotely). The night vision is better than I’ve seen in prior cameras, and a nice touch feature is the “white light” option to turn on LEDs that provides sufficient lighting to use regular visioning. Really great to have this kind of angle control. And the motion sensing also works very well, leaving a trail of video clips to review. I’ll be sticking with a plan to convert this to an outdoor cam using the solar panel. I’ve already verified the camera holds a charge and functions on batteries, and the solar option looks quite straightforward, so I expect no issues. Very happy with this purchase so far, 3 weeks in.

I have been using this camera for a few months now. I bought it before the holidays so I could see when packages were being delivered (our FedEx guy NEVER puts packages behind our gate). I love that you can move the camera to get a more specific view when needed. I am able to check to see if I forgot to shut my garage door, instead of calling my neighbor for him to check, lol. The solar seems to be working good, considering its winter and not getting full sun all day. It was really easy to install as well. I tried 3 different Cameras including the Amazon one (which I did not like and returned) and this one was the best. I would definitely recommend this camera and I would buy it again. Oh, the only thing thats a little bit annoying is that in the afternoon the sun is going behind trees across the way and the shadows trigger the sensor. But its easy enough to delete and I could probably change the sensor.

You can not set Activity Zones unless you sign up for cloud service

I am extremely pleased with my security cameras. The tilt and pan feature allows for a wider range of coverage, and the motion detection feature is very accurate. I have them mounted in a tree to monitor my dock, and the wifi signal reaches as far as 50 feet away with no issues. Very easy to install and work on the app. Overall, a great purchase for anyone in need of added security.

I gave this a 4 star as it came in quick and package didnt have any damage. It is a gift and hasnt been install. I will write another review for function operation later.

This light is a great security light and camera. I bought one for the front of our house. It is easy to mount and easy to use. It allows you to see who and what may be around your house and property with great clarity. I am planning on buying an additional one for the back of the house.
