> 3 dayas much as they are my favourite headphone, I found out a major issue, which I didnt have with Sony wh1000xm3. they make cracking and statics noise when connecting them to Samsung TV and I mainly use them with my TV. The responses I had when trying to get technical support was that the headphones are not compatible with Samsung TV. that is a loads of rubbish. There is no such thing incompatibility here. the headphones do connect and they seem to work find until they are not. Sony need to get their work together and come up with a solution. if they work with xm3, there is no reason why they shouldnt work with xm4.

> 3 dayMy son asked for these for Christmas to use with his Windows 10 laptop. They work fine with his iPhone but when connected to his PC the sound keeps stuttering to the point of being unusable. After searching this issue on Google and looking at a number of forums, it appears to be a common issue so why arent people warned of this? One forum suggested buying a USB Bluetooth dongle so I spent another £15 so he could use them with his laptop. Sony support useless, only suggesting a factory reset which doesnt resolve the issue. Why should you have to spend another £15 to get a £240 pair of headphones to work? They should just work at that price! Wont be buying Sony again.

> 3 dayI havent realy owned any fancy headset before this one besides cheap gaming ones, and i can only say that im impressed, the sound quality is amazing and noise cancelling is serously good. Although bluetooth is very good it does sometimes takes a second or two longer than expected to connect especially if you connect two devices at the time, but nothing dramatic, the headset is also a slight amount on the big side for my taste, but again nothing dramatic, build quality is great consodering the weight and the punch it gives.

> 3 dayWas chuffed with these out of the box, but then after about an hour of use there was a loud whirring in the right ear cup. After looking online I found this is a very common problem. I returned them and got the XM3s instead for 100 pounds less. They sound just as good and the only difference is that they dont have a sensor that auto pauses when you take then off

> 3 dayThe headphones are not bad, but given they cost almost £300 I was very disappointed. ANC is good (especially when travelling), possibly too good – you can become eerily unaware of anything going on around you, which can be a bit disconcerting. The sound is ok, but nothing special – it sounds a bit flat, a bit characterless, but maybe just because I am used to listening to headphones & speakers with a strong bass. The volume does not go particularly high.
