Saved the price of this unit 10 times over on the first job with GFI problems.

The tester was very easy to operate. It was accurate each time I used it . Easy to read results . Great tool for DYI . I recommend this tester.

This tool does what it is designed to do. Read the design parameters. This is a basic tool....detects common defects. Keep in mind that poorly installed electrical systems can have a baffling combination of errors. If the solution to your problem is not immediately apparent...seek qualified help!!!

What can I say, it does what is supposed to do. I recommend it. One problem only: The little printed or painted squares showing the result are super little so if you dont have 20/20 vision anymore you will need your glasses. For that Im giving it 4 stars.

The unit seems to work well and identify troubled outlets and wiring issues but the test lights are not very bright to the naked eye and are even worse in a photograph. As a home inspector, this gets a lot of use but the photos dont turn out well. I have better luck with my outlet tester from Harbor Freight reading the test lights.

Not sturdy, the prongs break very easily... especially the ground
