I teach elementary art: second through fifth grades and we all block print. This is the best brayer. I used one in college (and still use that one at home) and these are what my students use. So easy to clean up. Use foam meat trays to create a printing plate and go for it !! a must-have for your young artists !

I guess I didnt stop to read everything in the listing, relying too much on my eyeballs looking at the photo. From the picture, I was expecting a softer plastic/rubberized oblong handle, instead it is a perfectly round hard plastic handle. Other than that, the until appears to be of fine quality, and quite sturdy. I had just chosen this OVER the competition, because I thought that the handle would be more form fitting to my hand, rather than just another hard piece of plastic. I was wrong though. Its just another hard piece of plastic. I wouldnt buy this for the handle, thinking that it is anything special, but otherwise it looks like a decent product.

Great brayer for what I need. I use it mainly for rolling paint onto a gelatin plate for printmaking. It is easy to use for me and my 9 year old daughter.

I needed a soft rubber brayer for a project and no stores in town had them in stock. Having looked about online, for this pricepoint Speedball was the brand people were recommending. Ive only used it once so far and have been impressed with how smoothly it rolls and how sturdy it feels.

Wow-- been looking for this for 20 years. Perfect brayer tool. So glad to have one back in my life! Especially like large handle, not flat or thin-- Speedball always did know what a tool is supposed to do.
