Whenever my 4 adult sons get together they play spikeball. We replaced our original set with a regular one and it broke the first time they played. Sent it back to Amazon and got our money back. Decided to order a stronger set-Spikeball Pro- which was more than double the money, but hey, they love Spikeball. Bought it in April. Broke in August. Its not like they play every day....more like 2x a month(when they can all be together)!! I am so frustrated! Yes they play seriously, have played in a few tournaments etc, but they cant be any harder on it than most. Are they supposed to only last 4 months with less than regular use?!?! If so, its a rip off!! I havent called Amazon customer service yet, but my account shows that Im not supposed to be able to return it. We shall see.......Spikeball whats up????

A big step up from the Combo meal! A lot sturdier and I LOVE the new ball. Much better touch and way easier to add spin.

The pro ball is much better than the regular spike ball. And love having the hand held pump.

I was searching for a gift that would get my youngest grandson (12 yrs old) off the video games and couch. Not only does he love playing but his Dad, his Brother his Aunts and Uncles love it. Best Christmas Present of the Season!!! Will be taking it to the desert and the river for family outings soon!

Everything is as I expected and more.

The pro set is not for everyone, I get that. Some people just want to play for fun and dont need the $100 set. After owning the regular set than buying this one, if you know you enjoy playing this game and are looking to get a set, get the pro set. Its worth the extra $40. The sturdier arms and legs give you a nice peace of mind and the balls are better to hit. The net is easier to put on as it seems more circular than the square-ish net on the regular set. This also warps a lot less when you try to tighten the net. The legs fold up a lot easier for more convenient storage. The regular set is supposed to fold up (I think), but that plastic isnt as thick and feels like itll snap before I get it to fold in. One thing I might add. If you can, buy directly from spikeballs website rather than amazon. The shipping times will be about the same, but you would be supporting spikeball more because they wouldnt have to pay a royalty to amazon for the sale. To sum up, buy the pro set over the regular one as it is well worth the extra money and buy from spikeball directly if you can.

I am part of a co-op for school because I am only 13. we had a standard net that we got from a spikeball representative for free. wed liked it but it wasnt very sturdy and are friend at Co-op had a pro net that we really liked. so we asked our grandma for one for Christmas and low and behold me and my brother got one. It is very sturdy and a great way to get exercise. I recommend it for absolutely everyone.
