Outstanding piece of luggage, key kicker here: lifetime warranty. It is easy to move around, has a great design to pack for travel. If you travel a ton, this is a great one to have.

  • Here is my honest opinion

I paid full price for this, thinking I would be getting a really nice bag. I like the design. The pockets work for my packing style. But the wheels just dont work well. I used it for a trip and it kept rolling into me when walking through the airport. My spouse used it the following week. He doesnt like it nearly as well as his Victorinox for the same maneuverability issues. This costs more, too. The only thing better for this is that repairs are free. But for the cost, I would rather buy a new Victorinox.

I love the compartments and storage capability. However, there are not good wheels on this suitcase. It does not spin straight and very difficult to maneuver ! I would love to return it as it really sucks!!

Its very well-built and looks classy. The interior storage is great and the exterior pockets are useful.

I bopught 2 of these and we used them both for a trip to Canada. These do NOT live up to the hype. Firstly when fully packed and expanded these are not stable and the handle is way too flimsy. Our bags weighed 53 & 57kgs respectively, which was fine as we were travelling 1st class but the handle on these large bags is way to flimsy to support the weight of the bag. This makes it difficult to control the bag. There no brakes on thw wheeels and the bag constantly runs away from you. The extender inside the suitcase only works when the bag is empty. If you overfill your suitcase and then want to extend it, it doesnt work and so you need to take everything out your suitcase and start again. Its full of gimmicks that simply dont work. Its back to reliable Samsonite for us!!!

I have used Briggs and Riley for YEARS for my international travel. I have 2 Baseline suitcases; one is the 22 inch 2 wheel expandable, and the other is the Global 21 inch 2 wheel expandable. I love the expansion system (or I thought I did). We also have a Tumi 26 check luggage expandable bag but it is a bit too heavy and limits the packing due to the weight issue so I thought I would pick 2 of these spinners as a replacements for the Tumi - mistakes were made! I am so glad I only used one of these. VERY disappointed and have returned the other that was never taken out of the box. Either the expansion system or the zipper damaged my clothing. I have a brand new pair of pants that tore down the seam/fold of the pants, and my sons suit pants are also ruined with multiple small holes that run down the seam of the pants. When we arrived at our destination and I saw the clothes I was so upset. I cannot tell how it happened but I wish I could return this suitcase too.

I dont think much more need to be said. This is expensive, you get what you pay for - with B&R - the bag is near perfect. The material is sturdy, wheels are effortless and quality is precise. If ones budget allows - this is the epitome of the ideal (non disposable) luggage for any trip.
