STANLEY Nail Setter, Steel, 3-Piece (58-230)

Gets the job done.

Good for setting nails. Bad as a sex toy.

Great tools by a great company. This nail set is nice. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a set.

Sturdy

Hard to screw these up. They are quite a bit harder than the set I bought at Harbor Freight. No distortion so far. These double up as burnishers for my card scraper. Other sets Ive used have plastic sleeves to use for holding/shock-absorption. That doesnt matter. The sleeves just fall off anyway.

One of those tools you need for completing a wood project. Set the nail below the surface of the wood apply filler over the nail then sand and finish. Stanley is well known for quality tools. 4 stars because at some point you’re just going to need them and they just sit in the tool drawer until then.

I havent been super impressed by these, although it doesnt help anything that I cant seem to find them.

Package came a little dirty/rusty, but they cleaned up all of the 18ga nails in the pencil trim I was putting on. Works great.
