Good tape measure, rubbery surrounds for protection and good grip. Reels the tape back in each time at a good speed and the tape itself is easy to read and solid. Its flexible in the way that a tape measure normally is yet not so weak that it bends to a point of getting damaged. I expect this to last a long time!

Easy to read

Never thought Id see the day where I got excited by a new tape measure. But I did for the simple reason of its clearer to read than any other Ive had before. The other bonus is when measuring over say more than a few feet on your own it dont start twisting and turning on you driving you nuts! Perfect for people with only one pair of hands! ;)

I do like a good tape measure because the ones I normally buy are magic and keep disappearing. A while ago I was measuring a window to put up some blinds and put my tape measure down, turned around and then back again and it had gone...when I do DIY I seem to spend 75% of my time looking for tools. This tape measure works really well. I had a gap which I didnt know how big the gap was. I measured it with this tape measure and felt extremely smug afterwards as I then knew for certain the gap was 1.37m....absolutely over the moon because the piece of wood I had was 1.4m. Now thats a good job good done good.

These tape measures are great value and, as one would expect from the Stanley brand, good value. I purchased three of these to mark out carpark Pickleball courts: the 26 feet length was ideal for laying out the 20 feet by 22 feet (x2) court quickly and accurately. We laid out half-a dozen courts with these measures over a month with no issues. Just a generic reminder about these sort of measures - ensure that they do not get wet, and if they do, dry before retracting!

Really happy with this item the lock is perfect it keeps it in place while you measure without springing back.

Tough bit of kit! Abit bigger than my old one but more than fine for my daily non commercial use.
