Is there a way to give this a six star rating? We adore the spinner! It is copper and brass with a very sturdy pole and smooth spinning mechanism. We also bought 2 other spinners from different companies at the same time to do a grouping. The other two were much less expensive but also much less sturdy and I am sure will not last past this summer. We have some wind here at the farm but this spinner handles it well. My prediction is that we will replace the lesser spinners with more from this company.

Outstanding product reminds me of a fine balanced watch!Pricey but built and enjoy for decades.Moves Over 90% of time just slightest breeze moves it.I own 35 plus wind spinners and this is best of the best.I Own 4 Stanwood spinners would recommend all 4!The windmill type spinners turn easier due to what I call flywheel effect once started takes little wind to keep them moving.dhc

Very well made and easy to assemble. Sturdy build with no thought that it would be easily damaged. Much better made than similar inexpensive products, so worth the extra cost. Sensitive to even light winds so that there is movement often. Looks great in my yard.

After looking at many different wind sculptures, I was disillusioned by the shoddy construction and off-balance blades that I kept seeing. Once I saw this kinetic sculpture, I was intrigued by the description that the windmill spun AND rotated, so I gave it a shot. I am amazed at how finely balanced the blades are, and how easily the blade assembly rotates. It takes almost no wind at all to get and keep the windmill assembly spinning and rotating. I would highly recommend this kinetic sculpture for anyone who is looking for a garden sculpture.

Very good product - just wish I had chosen one of the other items. Probably should have chosen one with curved blades for a better visual effect. Very well made!

Easy to install, and more importantly, looks great spinning around in my yard. Dont be put off by the price; you get what you pay for- love this thing and look at as money well spent.
