This is a work of art! We love it. We did a custom install on the roof of our barn so we could enjoy the view from our house on Maui. Very well built and easy to modify for roof application.

Arrived in perfect condition. Very well made / heavy duty. Assembly was a breeze, just make sure the center post is level. Spins in the lightest wind and has so far withstood 40mph winds. This is a product where you get what you paid for........expensive but worth it.

There are most costly wind sculptures ($1000 and up) elsewhere, but Stanwood wind sculptures have the perfect quality at a more than reasonable price for lifetime outdoor art and this design spins so well (in opposite directions) and is amazingly beautiful. . i bought several cheap wind spinners (ones under $150) and was always disappointed. The cheap ones dont spin except in 30+ mph winds and even then they dont spin fast because there is too much friction or because they are unbalanced. They cheap kind wont last long either. I got fed up and bought this majestic spinner. The spinner has steel ball bearings hidden inside which is the key in reducing friction to insure easy movement. What I received was so well engineered and so superior in its materials and workmanship I realized it was not only worth every penny but it was in fact a bargain. The thickness of the pole mean no bending at the joints or shimmying like cheap spinners tend to do. The top of the sculpture is also strong, thick and sturdy metal that is perfectly balanced. It shines beautifully and I choose to spray it with Rust-Oleum Gloss Clear Enamel to keep it shiny all year long. I was rewarded right away with a little breeze and a spinning sculpture. It is definitely sculpture because its design is so well executed that it belongs in a museum as a fine example of kinetic art. I hate the cheap ones I bought previously and I love this Stanwood wind sculpture so much I bought two others by Stanwood which have made me very happy with their quality, amazing designs and ease of movement even when the wind is low. When we get a real windy day I look out a window and am fascinated by their beauty.

Stunning artwork for your yard. I have had mine for over a year. Constructed with precision. Spins fast and turns to the wind. Because it is copper, it will tarnish like a dark penny. That does not bother me. If it ever does, then I will polish it. The higher price of this unit is justified by the copper metal and the craftsmanship. All spinners are fun to have in your yard. Cheap ones are great too (as long as they are built mechanically to minimum specs). This Copper Wind Sculpture will be the showcase of your spinners.

I cannot say enough about how great these wind spinners are. This company uses quality materials that hold up, even in coastal salty environments. I own three of these and the oldest one I have is about 6 years old. It still spins like it did on the day I bought it. I am close to the pacific ocean and the salt-air basically dissolves most metals within a few months. These are truly made from copper which survives this salty environment. I know that they are more expensive than others on Amazon, but they are definitely worth the money.

I have the Stanwood Ficus Leaves and Willow Leaves wind sculptures. They are very well made and look terriific in my flower garden. I plan to buy this one too some day, when I have the dough! Highly recommended. I will not even consider the cheaper wind sculptures as I know the Stanwoods are the best available at the prices shown and cannot be matched for value.

For sale is ONE kinetic copper wind sculpture with a theme of Double Windmills. The blades are positioned so the dual spinners will spin in opposite directions once caught in the wind. The entire wind sculpture including the pole and its fixture is made of pure copper with brass hardware. The only metal is the stainless steel ball bearings that are completely covered by brass hardware. Two ball bearings make the two windmill wheels move independently and opposite from each other. A third bearing makes the kinetic sculpture swivels 360 degrees in the wind. The pole is made of heavy gauge copper and secured into the ground by an all copper 4-point anchoring system. With its heavy duty construction and swiveling head, this kinetic sculpture can withstand strong winds up to 70 mph. The copper blades are not coated and will age naturally. If you want to preserve its original copper shine, you may spray a layer of clear coat on it. We have had great success with clear coats made by Rust-Oleum and Permalac (Peacock Labs). The craftsmanship on this kinetic sculpture is impeccable. The windmill wheels are finely balanced and maintenance free. The sculpture is entirely weather proof and made to last for decades.
