Steel Wool, 12 pad, Medium Grade #1, Rhodes American, Household Steel Wool

There are many different uses for this product, however, I bought this solely to use for Leather Luster to shine my boots. Just scrubbing a leather surface like those boots caused the wool to break into small pieces. This is my first time using steel wool in my adulthood so Im not sure if this is a characteristic of all the steel wools, but this is a very fine type of steel wool that breaks off more than Im sure I remember its supposed to. However, the pieces arent so small that you cant wipe or brush them off gently with a soft brush or towel.

Polishes surface rust and corrosion off very efficiently and there’s plenty in that bag!

I find there are many things to use them with. I really like using them on my glass stove top. I would highly recommend them.

Used to make wood dye with steel wool and vinegar.

We have a lot of calcium and lime in our tap water here and it builds up really easily on our shower door and the glass shelf above our sink. I saw a tip on clean-tok about using 0000 steel wool and I thought I would give it a try. It is FABULOUS and did a perfect job of removing that frustrating build up. I hate cleaning bathrooms but these things made it easy and made me feel so proud of getting my bathroom sparkling again.

I use these to clean pots and pots, sinks, taps, etc. absolutely amazed- these were able to clean gunk off my pots/pans better than thicker grade steel wool AND left no scratches! Regret not finding this sooner because some of my pots have deep scratches on them. The only downside to these is the durability/longevity. Idk if I’m doing something wrong but these rust super fast. And because they’re so fine, the rust causes the steel wool to crumble and break making it useless In about it’s second use. Other than that these are pretty awesome.
