> 3 dayI bought this mousepad(plus the mini version) as a replacement for a SteelSeries 4HD, since the 4HDs plastic surface has a tendency to wear out the teflon feet on my G9x much faster than a regular pad. Ive heard glowing reviews of the QcK series and figured I might as well jump in on the hype. The first thing I noticed is its big. About an inch larger each way than the 4HD, but about the same thickness. This isnt an issue for me since I have a large desk space, but keep that in mind if your desk is small. I tend to alternate between low and high DPI applications so a large surface is a must. The surface itself is great; the weave on it is extremely fine and offers more resistance than the 4HD, but less than a cheap cloth/rubber pad. The QcK has a rubber backing grip which does a good job holding it to whatever surface Im using and so far I havent had it move unintentionally. Besides the G9x Ive tried it with a G500 and an Ideazon Reaper Edge and all three worked fine - no lagging, no jitter, and smooth response. It seems easy to clean, and unlike the 4HD you can roll it up for easy transport. Which leads me to my only complaint: since the pad is so thin it has some ripples from coming rolled up. Even with it stretched a hair and flattened there are still elevated spots. It doesnt seem to effect the mouse at all, but Id much prefer a fully flat mousepad. It will probably go away with use and if I really wanted to a book over it for a day or two would clear it up. The QcK Gaming Mousepad is definitely a winner, and a worthwhile purchase for anyone needing a great surface.

> 3 dayIts pretty good, doesnt leave scratch marks if you accidentally scratch it. But it did come kind of bent so theres a bit of a raise on the left side of it.

Greater than one weekSo all in all not bad for the price I guess. Though as being touted as an esports staple it falls somewhat short. Understandably it’s non woven edge would be expected to fray at some point but I have less than a dozen hours on this and it’s already showing signs of fraying. I do play all the way to the edge so that may factor in some although I have some cheap ass no name tiny pad that I dug out of my brother in laws closet and had to wash that performs just as well and shows no signs of fraying yet. So idk imho skip this and just get the woven edge version. I got the med woven for my kiddo since I figured she’d be rough on it anyhow. Will be returning to order either the woven version or a different pad altogether.

> 3 dayIf youre running low DPI, the medium is a great size to allow room for larger movement and precision. Great material, slides easily with multiple mice I have on hand, and the larger size is perfect if youre using a sliding wrist/palm rest!

> 3 dayIve used basic, generic mousepads over the years but ever since picking the Steelseries QcK+, I dont think Ill be upgrading anytime soon. This mousepad is a good size for me since when I game, I play at a lower DPI so my mouse wont go off of the pad. It sticks to the surface it lays over very well, I dont know if its ever a problem where mousepads constantly move around due to a loose grip on a surface, but if it is then this mouspad does a good job gripping on a surface. Its a smooth surface so I can glide my mouse smoothly across the mousepad. I use a Logitech G502 on my desktop and a G402 on my laptop and based on these two mice, the G402 glides a lot more smoothly than my G502. The G502 has more traction on my pad and its a lot more noisier than my G402. Despite this, I still say that this is a great mousepad for its price. I cant compare it to any other mousepads from brands like Corsair or Razer, etc. because I havent owned any of them so I cant formulate a better or more thorough review. But despite that, it still doesnt take away the fact this is a great mousepad that will last you a long time depending on how you take care of the product.
