Great product. Works well to hang ladders, store long items and lumber.

Excellent product that has evolved from its original purpose of storing surf boards and such. Works grear for ladders and long items in the garage. The instructions are somewhat misleading since they have not been updated to the expanded use of garage ceiling storage.

Great use of space easy to install less than 10 minutes. Freed up a lot of floor space.

holes for mounting on the brackets are for 1/4 lag screws.... dont use the screws that come with it if you want maximum support. i went to lowes and bought four much thicker 3in long 3/8in lag screws with matching 3/8 washers... after that simply take a 3/8 drill bit and drill into the mounting holes to widen them up so the 3/8 screws will fit. i only needed a big ladder on one side.... the other side ill probably fill in with some boards stained black and coated with a urethane... so i can store totes etc. secure the boards to the bracket with u bolts.

Never understand why companies will always scrimp a couple bucks and include complete junk for mounting hardware. Both lag screws sheared apart when attempting to screw into place (and I did drill pilot holes first). Id recommend going out and buying your own hardware to mount this and not use the included screws. Update: I happened to have my own heavier duty lag screws on hand from another project that I was able to install the brackets with so raising my review 2 stars after the initial frustration. I would also second the other reviews that mentioned the poor installation instructions. The instructions I had did not give any specifications on the included lag screws or provide information on the size of the required pilot hole (things that you can of course figure out on your own but should really just be included in the instructions). Finally, the instructions state you can put up to 150 lbs on this mount but I personally would not feel comfortable standing underneath it with that kind of weight on it. Overall works for storing a surfboard and fiberglass ladder but wish the included hardware wasnt so cheap.

Great product for holding my ladders.

This ceiling rack was a little on the pricey side, but the fit, finish, construction, adjustability and strength mad me feel better about spending the money. I purchased these to store four various sized extension ladders (between 20 and 12 feet) in my garage, and I have had zero issues. I am now considering buying more for our paddle boards.

Mounted nicely in the crawl space to keep ladders off of vapor barrier. So far so good!
