Greater than one weekRather easy install and is currently holding a 15 fiberglass extension ladder and a single person canoe. The weight bearing appears to hold up nicely.

Greater than one weekWe bought three kayaks and needed to find a good way to store them. Our garage and shed were both pretty full. I found these racks. Ordered them because of the ability to hang from the ceiling and also to choose which direction they would be used. which was huge for us as we did need to have perpendicular mounting to accommodate our available ceiling space. Easy to install, adjustable, and sturdy. Would definitely recommend it.

05-06-2025Very good quality product. Looks like it was made in the United States due to the quality workmanship. However, it was probably made in China. I don’t remember. Had to install this item in a 30 year old garage that had 2 inch x 4 inch trusses running overhead. I used a 2 inch x 6 inch Douglas fir board placed on top of the lower truss boards to more adequately support the weight of the unit and the ladders. I substituted quarter inch x 2 inch bolts secured by nylon locking nuts instead of the lag screws to support the unit. Then used 3 inch deck screws to attach the 2 inch x 6 inch board to the trusses. Really pleased with the product and ease of installation. Was able to install a very long ladder on one side and only a 6 foot ladder on the other side. This caused no stability problems at all with the unit.

> 3 daySimple to install and takes my 22 ft adjustable and 8 foot A frame ladders fine. My only gripe is that it would be better if adjusted lower to make access easier - there is not much clearance from my garage ceiling so getting the bigger ladders in and out is a little tricky. On the other hand, once up there is plenty of clearance underneath!

> 3 dayI purchased this to put a 6 & 8 ft ladder and surfboard above the garage door. Once I fount the studs it was easy to lag bolt in with included lags (Pre drill first). The padded bars are a nice touch. It can adjust up and down depending on your garage height, also will pivot 90 degrees depending on how your studs are running. I may order another for the kayaks.
