Streamlight 75710 Stinger 425-Lumen LED Rechargeable Flashlight with Nimh Battery Without Charger, Black

I needed a new flashlight for work and wanted to move away from my full size streamlight rechargeable. I owned a stinger 8 or so years ago but it had the xenon bulb and when the battery went bad I never replaced it. So this time I wanted to go with LED as the bulbs basically last forever and the xenon bulbs are expensive. All that said I wanted a good price and selection so I went to amazon. Unfortunately things got confusing from there. Amazon had so many stinger products with model numbers that had no corresponding reference on the Streamlight website so for my review instead of focusing on the light, lumens, body comp, etc, which had been covered before, I wanted to try to clear up the product numbers to make buying easier if you have already decided to buy a Stinger. (I spent hours trying to figure out what the model number meant because the pictures were basically worthless when deciding between certain models as well as included accessories) Basically what I determined is that the beginning three numbers tell what kind of light it is. 757 is the Stinger LED as shown on the Streamlight website. 758 is the Stinger DS LED and 75? anything else is the standard Stinger xenon bulb. The only anomaly is the DS HP, which follows no rhyme or reason but is easily distinguishable because of its large lamp portion. So the difference? The Stinger LED has one on/off switch on the handle and an rubber anti-roll ring that can be placed on the flashlight The Stinger LED DS had two fully functional on/off switches one on the body and one on the end. The light output is basically the same on both from what I can tell as are all other features. The Stinger LED HP had that large bulging portion that according to Steamlight gives it a long range targeting beam. Has only one on/off switch The classic stinger has the xenon bulb. All Stingers that I know of will charge with the battery in the flashlight in the charger. Other accessories are available of with the one that caused me the most confusion being the Piggyback holder. It is basically an additional holder for a battery only that attaches to a regular charger. Dont be fooled by the fast charger thing. As far as I can tell all Stinger chargers will charge in fast mode as well as regular mode (even the piggyback) Now for accessories. Here it is to the best of my ability is the list for LED lights only. It is not exhaustive and is a guide only Model 75710-LED flashlight only, no battery 75711-LED with AC charger only 75712-LED with DC only 75713-LED flashlight only with battery 75732-LED with AC, DC, and piggyback. Has only one cradle with the piggyback attached but has two different wires, one DC and on AC. Includes two batteries 75735 AC ad DC chargers only indicates it has two cradles but unknown. 75810-DS Flashlight only no battery 75812 DS and DC charger only 75813-DS with AC and DC charger 75816-DS AC/DC with Piggyback 75832-DS with AC/ DC charger and Piggyback 75835 -DS with AC/ DC charger 75836 DS with AC and piggyback charger 75760-HP flashlight only with battery 75761-HP with AC charger only 75763-HP with AC and DC chargers 75782-HP with AC, DC, and Piggyback 75856-HP with AC, DC, and Piggyback 75860-HP only with battery 75861-HP with AC charger 75862-HP with DC charger only 75863-HP with AC and DC charger 75882-HP with unknown 75885-HP with AC and DC charger I bought the 75732 because I did not need the end cap. I dont have any knowledge of how many batteries or charger cradles (other then the one I bought) are included with each model because it does not say on the web pages as far as I can tell. I think that in the end you should assume you get one battery and one charging cradle with two cords AC and DC then if you get more it is a bonus. Hope this review helps.

I bought the new led stinger to replace my old stinger which still works flawlessly. I stick to streamlight and this new stinger hasnt let me down. A bit bigger than the oringal but not an issue. The only issue i had was the rubber switch started come out but pushed back in and hasnt done it since. Its nice Amazon sells just the flashlight since i have many chargers. Will recommend to any one that wants a super bright, reliable streamlight, and rechargeable flashlight.

Ive had one of these flashlights for about 15 years and my dad loves its size and brightness for when we are fishing on the pier st night so I got him this one for Christmas and hes tickled to bits. Awesome flashlight.

I have owned this model for about 8 years. Im a boat mechanic. I need a good flashlight almost all the time. The Stinger is my favorite tool!!!! This is an additional one. The batteries last a very long time!! Extremely waterproof. I once dropped it in a deep bilge full of water while in the ON position. It eventually died before I could retrieve it. It never worked again. I sent it back to the company and they fixed it FOR FREE!!!! This is a quality product!!!! Sure, they arent cheap, but they are well worth the money!!!!! 2016 update: I STILL love my Stinger! I bought another just because I cant live without it. I used it recently on my boat to light the way into the dock in the dark. It lights up the dock from at least a quarter mile away! It has incredible range! I absolutely love those flashlights. I got a dc car charger with my new one and its always charged. VERY EASILY WORTH THE $!

Worka as designed

As a professional officer I purchase the best I can afford to because I know it will perform as advertised and last a long time. This light is bright and has the functions i wanted in a quality flashlight. Its easy to carry on my duty belt and lights up the darkest areas to keep you safe. This is my second Streamlight Stinger,my first is about 8 years old and still going strong replacing only a battery and non led bulb.

This is the top of the line in flashlights, it gives you more than enough light and the charge will last a long time, I am a Fire fighter and even though I do not take this into burning houses I do use it alot after the fire and other things on the fire ground. I found this light on here and could not believe the price, I paid $160 for mine and that was with a discount, when I ordered this one I saw it had pictures of the chargers but never mentioned them in the discription. Trust me you will get everything in the picture plus the price you will not beat anywhere. Buy this light you will not be dissapointed.

I have three of these mounted near access point to my home. Great everyday light. From working on my Jeep to those late night searches for my run away dog. This light provides all the lumens I need. Feels great in the hand and can take a beating. Ive used one in the power generation industry for 8 years and the light looks like sh*t, but still performs great and no one wants to steal it.
