Streamlight 75710 Stinger 425-Lumen LED Rechargeable Flashlight with Nimh Battery Without Charger, Black

I love these flashlights. When I started using Stingers they didnt have LEDs. Very happy I upgraded. Light is much brighter and lasts much longer. To me the the dimming features are not needed but can extend the battery life between charges. I work as a mechanic and havent had to charge or swap batteries once since I bought this light 6 months ago. Stats put run time for full power at 2 hours, but I know it can go longer.

Spending this amount of money on a flashlight sounds ridiculous but Im a mechanic and love this flashlight very glad I got it, almost every technician at my job has the same one.

This is the perfect work light. Very bright, easy to recharge, and very sturdy. It can handle a beating. I work as a mechanic and use this flashlight all day every day. But this is my third one. I keep loosing them. I recommend putting some kind of a bright colored lanyard tied to the hole in the rear cap to help prevent this. Or just buy a different color than black. Other than me loosing them this is a great flashlight. Also, I know an officer that uses this light as part of his tactical kit. With the strobe feature it works pretty good for him.

Such a great light. I live in a dark area with light pollution laws. So there are no street lights, everyones houses are very dark (and out in the country so spread at least a few acres apart). I was able to light up a house good enough to see around it from 3 houses away, about 1/6 of a mile. It has crazy illumination. Battery life is quite good, especially on the low setting. Pretty amazing light power for that one tiny little LED bulb. Speaking of which since its LED you will never need a new bulb. Im not sure you call the LEDs bulbs, lol. And the strobe feature would probably disable someone, or give them a seizure. It really is beyond annoying and so bright. I tried it on myself to test it and was seeing tracers and couldnt focus on a computer screen properly for about an hour after.

One of the best purchases for my tool box. I use it all the time in the garage while working on my car. While a bit pricey, it has been extremely useful. Ive dropped it accidentally on a handful of occasions and it still works beautifully. The light is so strong that it lights the end of my street at night. Ive had it for over a year now and Ive been extremely happy with the purchase.

I am in the pest control industry and use this flashlight daily to inspect homes - inside, attics and sometimes crawls. I need a heavy duty reliable flashlight. I have found this model meets my requirements. I carry 2 in my car because I think it is a good idea to run the battery down between charges to extend battery life. I tell you I have been using streamlight products for some time now my last light was the original stinger after a couple of years they came out with an LED conversion kit I bought and installed it worked wonderfull I was at the point where I was either going to have to purchase new batteries or upgrade I figured since I have had this light for so long I would upgrade let me tell you this was a great choice to move into I have heard some negative thoughts on the LED DS model so i went with the older model singal switch this light is great have had no problems if this one goes for as many years as the original is the next test if you need a good dependable light its worth every penny just remember what batteries cost for the lower end flashlights out there and how many are not as rugged and durable as streamlight so if your in the market of quality and craftsmanship then this is your product
