Streamlight 75710 Stinger 425-Lumen LED Rechargeable Flashlight with Nimh Battery Without Charger, Black

I bought the new led stinger to replace my old stinger which still works flawlessly. I stick to streamlight and this new stinger hasnt let me down. A bit bigger than the oringal but not an issue. The only issue i had was the rubber switch started come out but pushed back in and hasnt done it since. Its nice Amazon sells just the flashlight since i have many chargers. Will recommend to any one that wants a super bright, reliable streamlight, and rechargeable flashlight.

This thing is bright. Really bright. Lights up cars really well. Has a crisp halo around the take down beam in the center. Since I carried the old stinger and was used to the single switch, I chose to get the standard led, not the DS ( dual switch). The standard has only one switch on the body. The DS has one on the body and the tail. If you buy the standard, you can always buy just the tail switch and screw it on and it will work. My old stinger charger worked just fine. The charge life is really nice with these. It has a good weight to it and I cant tell its on my belt. Little longer than the old stinger and has this thin rubber grip on the handle. Thats my one negative. I liked the all smooth metal handle of the old stingers a lot better; easier to get in and out of the holster. Overall, streamlight strikes again! They just seem to take all my money but Im okay without that!

I love these flashlights. When I started using Stingers they didnt have LEDs. Very happy I upgraded. Light is much brighter and lasts much longer. To me the the dimming features are not needed but can extend the battery life between charges. I work as a mechanic and havent had to charge or swap batteries once since I bought this light 6 months ago. Stats put run time for full power at 2 hours, but I know it can go longer.

I have owned this model for about 8 years. Im a boat mechanic. I need a good flashlight almost all the time. The Stinger is my favorite tool!!!! This is an additional one. The batteries last a very long time!! Extremely waterproof. I once dropped it in a deep bilge full of water while in the ON position. It eventually died before I could retrieve it. It never worked again. I sent it back to the company and they fixed it FOR FREE!!!! This is a quality product!!!! Sure, they arent cheap, but they are well worth the money!!!!! 2016 update: I STILL love my Stinger! I bought another just because I cant live without it. I used it recently on my boat to light the way into the dock in the dark. It lights up the dock from at least a quarter mile away! It has incredible range! I absolutely love those flashlights. I got a dc car charger with my new one and its always charged. VERY EASILY WORTH THE $!

Love the flashlight overall but it did not arrive with the charger......so I ordered another one and will send this one back. What a PITA. NO Contact the seller option or icon......sending it back and ordering a replacement is the only option as far as I can see.

I bought this flashlight for work. Being a mechanic the 3 levels of light output is good. Tough flashlight also. Have dropped it several times and is still working. My old streamlight with the led upgrade got very expensive due to the bulbs being of poor quality. Drop it once and the bulb burned out. This is a good flashlight. Does work with my old charger but always wanted the piggyback charger so got one. All in all I recommend it.

Had these all the way back from the halogen bulb with the back up bulb stored in the tail cap. Obviously LED is the way now, but the classic Streamlight lives on as powerful as ever. It’s what you’ve come to expect with what I believe is HANDS DOWN the best duty or every day light on the market. It’s not in particularly cheap.. but you buy once. You cry once, don’t waste your time with o lights and those 10 pack value deal lights. I can attest to the fact that I promise you this light will outlive you, and even if something happens. I can also attest to the quality of Streamlights service department. Send them your product, and no Questions asked they will fix it up provided the rare circumstance of a failure takes place. I don’t often write reviews, but this item is worth my time to do my best in getting my point across that you won’t be sorry.

Ok , thus light is really good , built very well, as stremlights go, an just about the right side, it says in all the reviews, and i read them it only comes with a dc (car) charger, this is not so true , there is a micro usb right by where youd plug in you dc adapter to the piggyback charger, an guess what it works, to charge the light in your home, with any old android charger, you may have laying around, so yea i give this thing 5 stars.

TAKE IT WITH ME EVERYWHER NICE

I hope it turns up in a car somewhere obscure as it was quite expensive. It was recommended by my pest control serviceman as being the brightest and best and company issued for that reason. I was so impressed I bought my own as things constantly fell into dark places and this light was the only one bright enough to cut through any dark places. Unfortunately, I only have the chargers (AC and DC) and can no longer find the flashlight even with the brightest I now can locate. The case was sturdy also and I bought connectors to secure it to a Molle vest for hiking. If theres a less expensive way to buy flashlight without any chargers, please let me know. Now putting my son and family through school as first career became totally unviable and can no longer afford such a quality flashlight or Id buy another in a heartbeat.
