Your kid either is interested in learning to ride a bike this way (sitting on the seat and kicking the ground like a scooter) or not. You may be better off starting with a tricycle. We were. She may eventually be into this, but by then shell probably be too big for this. Check the measurements and the height of child it works for.

Five star for the bike but one star for my grandson as he is a little afraid of it at 28 months but i bet he masters it when he is ready.

This is lightweight and adorable. My daughter is only 2 and is pretty quickly becoming comfortable with it. I feel its a better decision for a starter bike than a heavier one with pedals and training wheels getting in the way.

Gave this to my son for his third birthday. Initially he didnt show much interest in riding it for more than a few minutes. However, as he got older he became more confident on it and rides it for longer periods of time. He is almost 4 now and is doing great. He already picks his feet up and glides across the driveway. You cant go wrong with this thing.

2 year old daughter loves to ride her bike. Her best friend liked it so much, Santa brought him one for Christmas too! Cant wait til they ride together!

tow boys have learned to rid on it, ages 2 and 3. works great, highly adjustable seat and handle bars.

This bike is extremely easy to put together. Its very sturdy, very light weight, well built and is a good quality. However, for the price point I think the company could make some changes. First, the seat is a hard plastic and my boy has been complaining it hurts. It stops him from long, continuous riding. This could easily be upgraded to a nice padded seat. Second, the foam tires wear but they are a good quality so they should last a while. All in all its a great buy but possibly another bike at a lower price point may have been just as good.
