> 24 hourInstalled this easily with the car on jack stands in my garage. Re-used the original spring pin that hold the joint to the transmission shifter stub. I important tip- after driving the pin out from the bottom up through the top side of the old joint, use a punch or bolt of the same diameter, inserted from the top side to hold everything in alignment while you re-insert the pin to install the new joint. Also, I used a foot long piece of steel rod with about 2 inches of clear rubber hose attached, to hold the pin on the rod, while I hammered the pin into place. Rod works well as a long punch and you dont have to hold the pin on the end because its captured by the hose.

> 24 hourCame in true OEM packaging, its a real part. Major PITA to install on my 1999 Forester, but I got it eventually. Shifts feel crisp and I dont hit 3rd when I was aiming for 5th anymore.

> 24 hourWorked great for my subi with the worn out shift linkage. Was a bit of a challenge to install but getting the pins out with only a drift punch was the hard part. Get a real long punch kit and it can be done without disturbing any of the other crossmember or drive line parts.

> 24 hourAs all genuine Subaru parts they were made for ur car don’t get cheap and buy a alternative to the real thing cause if u own one u know u just end up spending more in the end and end up with factory parts anyway perfect fit and fixed the sloppy shifter
