09-06-2025Exactly what I wanted for my daughter who walks to school. Super bright when light shines on it. Good quality.

> 3 dayIf I could give it a zero I would, this is absolute garbage believe me it is 100% Dollar Store quality frame that wobbles and feels like it will break when the wind blows. Then you have the tiny handle that is 1 & 1/2 inches in length and 1 & 1/2 inches in wide, not only is it hard to hold on to butt to top it off when a breeze blows the handle actually begins to unscrew due to the top rotating. The frame is JUNK, I paid $60 Canadian from ebay seller buy_send and the return shipping to the UK is crazy close to the price I paid for the umbrella. Do not buy it unless you have a proper frame you are will to change the top over to, great idea with the reflective top to bad they had to be usless about it an burn everyone with the JUNK frame that feels like it will snap and I`m sure the 1st mild wind storm you use it in it will break. No doubt in my mind.

12-06-2025This is my second order of this umbrella. I broke my first one by smashing it with the car door. The second one is just as great. Each individual raindrop is a solid color, and they go in rainbow order when they get wet. The sample raindrop on the cover is white and does not change colors.

> 3 daySaw one of these in public and instantly wanted one. About the same price as other umbrellas but do so much more! I would recommend one to anyone, young and old!

> 3 dayPurchased mostly for the novelty, the concept of an umbrella to increase your visibility when its most likely to be used, dark or overcast rain conditions makes sense and falls under the why did no one think of this sooner? category. As an umbrella, it should work fine. A few points to consider: - This is not your average nylon umbrella. Its thick, almost like vinyl. It seems like 3M Scotchlite, though thats not indicated anywhere. If youve ever seen anything with Scotchlite reflective strips you know how thick it can be. This is that thick, all of it. The material doesnt like to collapse or fold well. Trying to get the velcro strap around it is a stretch. Im expecting the tight folding will cause some breakdown in the reflective properties at the creases. - Its a collapsible umbrella, but has no spring loading. The new style is nifty where the button collapses the top as well as extends the entire package. This doesnt even work like the old style, where the button springs everything out. This is 100% manual opening. The shaft will extend while the umbrella is in the case if you try to grab the handle and pull. You need to push from the closed end of the carry case and get some bulk hanging out that you can grab on to. - The handle is plastic, and threads on to a plastic tip. Expecting this may fail at some point. Overall, youre likely paying for the reflective material and possibly the most bare-bones, chintziest umbrella framework probably out of the East.

> 3 dayI wish I could love this umbrella! I even tried two times! It is much smaller than expected, which is the first negative for me. I got this as a Christmas gift from my mom, it was on my wish list. I was excited to be able to try it out and the first use, I loved it! The colors were vibrant and it looked really nice! However after trying a couple more times, I cannot get the umbrella to open and stay. I dont even understand what was going on with it. I actually returned it and they sent another one to my mom. She gave it to me about a month ago and I just now tried t out today for the first time. The first time I opened it, it worked... But again, now it will not stay open and is useless. I will not give it a third try as I have lost all faith in this umbrella. Sad!

Greater than one weekFor the price, I expected an umbrella that would not break almost immediately. One broke on the 2nd use. Some wind turned it inside out and the tips snapped. The second broke on the 3rd use, The retractable handle slid out all the way and is no longer attached. I have had $10 umbrellas with much better construction that lasted a hell of a lot longer than 2 or 3 uses. The fabric is a great idea but the umbrellas construction is cheap.

> 3 dayI did like the patterns, they certainly show up well in the rain. And more importantly the umbrella didnt fold inside out on light to moderate winds. Its durable enough.
