Here is my honest opinion
> 3 dayI bought this in Paris for a lot of money. I was disappointed to see that it is just a cheap folding umbrella with a cool color changing feature. It is small and looks like one good wind would destroy it. My puppy got it before the weather. Because of its poor quality I wont be buying another. I am looking for one with the same feature but better made.

> 3 dayI wish I could love this umbrella! I even tried two times! It is much smaller than expected, which is the first negative for me. I got this as a Christmas gift from my mom, it was on my wish list. I was excited to be able to try it out and the first use, I loved it! The colors were vibrant and it looked really nice! However after trying a couple more times, I cannot get the umbrella to open and stay. I dont even understand what was going on with it. I actually returned it and they sent another one to my mom. She gave it to me about a month ago and I just now tried t out today for the first time. The first time I opened it, it worked... But again, now it will not stay open and is useless. I will not give it a third try as I have lost all faith in this umbrella. Sad!

Greater than one weekNot happy with this purchase. The umbrella pole was bent and the mechanism that holds it up was broken. It felt very flimsy too. It went back for a refund.

> 3 dayI admit it. I rely on reviews a little too much, but I never take the time to leave a review. Call it lazy I guess. But this one got me so upset that I had to take time to write this. Who could NOT love an umbrella that changes color?! Being a designer, I just HAD to have something so unique! I was the happiest person with my stupid umbrella! LOOK! LOOK HOW IT CHANGES COLORS! (I was almost on the verge of being just like Gene Kelly the first time out in the rain! Sad..I know.) That happiness went away during the second time I took my amazing umbrella out. Simply walking to my car in a steady rain with zero wind, the entire thing just FLOPPED right on top of me. I tried to close it up to jump in the car, but it wouldnt even close! Looking at it closer in the car, every single metal bar giving the umbrella its shape snapped in half. What?! I can understand if it were windy out, but there was none! It may have been the one I received because by the looks of it, many are happy, but how disappointing! Oh well...back to my boring solid black umbrella....*sigh*...

> 3 dayPurchased mostly for the novelty, the concept of an umbrella to increase your visibility when its most likely to be used, dark or overcast rain conditions makes sense and falls under the why did no one think of this sooner? category. As an umbrella, it should work fine. A few points to consider: - This is not your average nylon umbrella. Its thick, almost like vinyl. It seems like 3M Scotchlite, though thats not indicated anywhere. If youve ever seen anything with Scotchlite reflective strips you know how thick it can be. This is that thick, all of it. The material doesnt like to collapse or fold well. Trying to get the velcro strap around it is a stretch. Im expecting the tight folding will cause some breakdown in the reflective properties at the creases. - Its a collapsible umbrella, but has no spring loading. The new style is nifty where the button collapses the top as well as extends the entire package. This doesnt even work like the old style, where the button springs everything out. This is 100% manual opening. The shaft will extend while the umbrella is in the case if you try to grab the handle and pull. You need to push from the closed end of the carry case and get some bulk hanging out that you can grab on to. - The handle is plastic, and threads on to a plastic tip. Expecting this may fail at some point. Overall, youre likely paying for the reflective material and possibly the most bare-bones, chintziest umbrella framework probably out of the East.

> 3 dayAt $27, I expected this to be an umbrella that was well made and truth to tell, its a little flimsy. The first time I used it, it turned inside out with a gust of wind. The handle came off at one point as well. I could screw it back on but? Im disappointed in the quality of the product. The raindrops do turn color as advertised so theres that but if I was heading out and it was raining heavily, I wouldnt take this umbrella.

> 3 dayStarted falling apart the second time I used it. Not at all resilient against wind. Aesthetically its nice, though.
