Easy to manage for a older person.

I have normally had good luck with AmazonBasics items but these suitcases were a real disappointment. I have had four zipper pulls fail, 1 on the small bag and three on the larger bag. Ive had to attach a key ring in order to make it easier to open the bag. Clearly a failure of the zipper pulls, you can do better Amazon!

Needs a better handle other than that all around great!

Have not used it at all, and it will be returned immediately. The luggage piece seemed to be well constructed and fairly light in weight. However it measures just tiny bit over 22 in length, way too small for its specification.

This is a really, really nice suitcase for the price. The design is rather brilliant: the case reduces in depth as it travels up toward the top, so its less prone to tipping over, but the expansion zipper offsets this decreasing depth by expanding toward the top, yielding a true rectangle when expansion is needed, so the volume ends up self-balancing. Really clever.

I travel quite often, and I have used suitcases of different brands such as Skyway Luggage Epic 28 , American Tourister Ilite Max Softside spinner 29, Samsonite, among others. The suitcase that has worked best for me is the Amazon Basic swivel softcover. I recommend it.

In just a few words: light, durable, good-looking, and takes rough handling in stride. Right size, too, if you want a smaller Carry-On that will fit in tight spaces not just on airplanes but also if you have to lug work items to the office or on-site.
