What I love about these bags is the high quality material that seemlingly can be abused by the airlines. Im now lukewarm on hard-sided cases because Ive had three dented beyond repair by the airline. And for those that never had this happen, the airline gives you nothing if the bag is not open and remains secured because the huge compressed corner did not leave a gaping hole. These are soft-sided luggage and dont have that problem. They roll in all directions (when on the floor) with wheels that are seemingly okay. The smallest bag is an acceptable size for both domestic and international airlines for carry-on. This is even true for the more officious airlines like ValuJet etc..

The bag fit in the airline overhead compartments with no problem. I used this bag and another slightly larger bag on a recent ten day trip to Ireland. The bag held a lot and the zipper pouch in front was handy for travel docs, etc.. This bag was far less expensive than others. It was very maneuverable through airports, security checks and hotels.

Sturdy and functions well. Havent needed expansion and it a rarely used feature on my other carry-ons but its there if you need it. Zipper holds up to use. Wheels stay true. Maintains its form.

Like ... for short trips... nice care on bag
