> 24 hourWorks great! Came off easy after my project and stayed on the whole time I was stitching. I did stick a pattern on my cloth and got back to it about a month later. I had to tape it down on one side but as soon as I stitched the outside of the pattern it stayed. I wouldn’t recommend leaving it on too long, though. Otherwise works perfectly.

> 24 hourWhat a delight to transfer a drawing my grandson gave me to a thin pure linen apron, medium weight dish towel and a thicker pair of jeans! And that only used 1 sheet. As expected, the hand embroidery needle retained some of the adhesive residue though that was very easily solved by twisting the needle in a used dryer sheet. The residue came right off and it was smooth stitching. My new go to for most of my stitching projects. Definitely cost effective.

> 24 hourEver since I was given a sheet of this stuff years ago I have been in love; every year for the past 15 years I have hand embroidered a design on the breast pocket of a jacket for my father. I used to rely on simple designs or I would just wing it and hope my spacing and design would work out. Transfer pencils and the so called disappearing markers never worked for me, either the weave of the jacket would be too loose/soft or the jacket would have both light and dark colors like the plaids that my dad prefers (yes, if you were wondering he is a stereotypical lumberjack). I can now simply print out even complex embroidery designs for materials that are both dark and light without struggling to see the markings like last years stag beetle, a fighting marlin, or the company logo for his business. With even basic skills in photo editing software like Photoshop or Gimp you can easily turn any image into an embroidery design. Using these sheets has taken my embroidery work from something that was obviously homemade (like the awful stick figure cutting down a tree that I did 12 years ago) to something that people think was custom made at a high end professional embroidery shop (maybe the extra decade of experience has a little bit to do with that as well heheheheh). The material can easily be used in a home printer, sticks well to both tightly woven and more porous material, and dissolves easily in even tepid water. Just be sure to make sure which side of the paper your printer will print on before loading the sheets in and hitting print.

> 24 hourThe Sulky Printable Fabric Solvy stabilizer, 8.5 x 11 12-Pack, White is a very good product. I use this product for hand embroidery. Its not very tacky and is very easy to dissolve in water.

> 24 hourHate tracing your embroidery patterns onto your permanent fabric? This is for you! Just photocopy your pattern onto the Sulky Sticky Fabri-Solvy sheet, peel from the backing and place the sheet onto your permanent fabric, embroider as normal. When you are done wash your finished product as you would normally and the backing dissolves. Just as though it was never there. So much easier and less chance for error.

> 24 hourI used this to transfer a series of twelve designs on to fabric squares to use in a quilt. Tracing would have been way too time consuming! The product worked just as advertised. It printed clearly and transferred easily. I had no trouble working with the design trough the product, and it did NOT gum up my needle. Indeed, the added stability to the fabric worked to my advantage, in my opinion. THE ONLY REASON it did not get five stars was that, for me, it did not wash out as easily as I would have liked. I stitch a very tight line, and it was hard for me to get the water and the necessary agitation under the stitches in order to remove the dark line of the product. Also I had the same problem with the (tight) French knots. I had to scrub harder that I liked to remove the visible black dot. It was nerve wracking, as I was afraid I would dislodge my hard work! I must add that I WAS eventually able to remove the product with my efforts. I am buying more to make another set, so I this was not a deal breaker for me, and I would definitely recommend it as a useful and time saving aid for the stitcher.

> 24 hourIt works! I printed a detailed embroidery design, did the needlework by hand, and then washed the backing away. I had been tracing my designs with a lightbox before this. These work wonderfully better - I can print in color and follow my design more easily. You do have to be able to wash your fabric, however - just in warm water, by hand or washer, whatever your fabric can manage. But its good to be aware of that in case you are doing a design on special fabric you dont want to get wet. I use muslin and felt for my designs, so it works a treat! No residue. I love it!
