Used to repair a porch light fixture whose built-in photocell has gone on the fritz. It works as advertised and is good and bright.

Works well in my application, comes on at dusk and turns off in the morning. It is bright, but when it is off it looks better than white glass led bulbs and the spiral cfl it replaced which are hideous. Cant speak for longevity, but I like the functionality so far. I have seen reviews that they dont last but it remains to be seen.

Ive had bad luck with photocells built-in to outdoor lighting fixtures. I tried using these bulbs instead, with great success. Another photocell died last week.. Repeat purchase. Easy fix.

Bulbs were brighter than expected.. wanted a warmer glow more like a standard edison bulb.. still look nice and the dusk to dawn feature works great

I got tired of seeing my front porch light still on forgetting to turn it off in the morning. This works great...comes on at dusk and off at dawn. Hopefully they last.

These work great! They turn off in the morning and come on at dusk. They are bright!! I probably would have gone with a 40 Watt equivalent if they had it, but being in the country, I dont mind a little extra brightness.

I bought these so my outside lights would be dusk-to-dawn without having to replace the whole light fixture. I put these in the fixtures and now, I can leave the switch to my outside lights on all the time, but the bulbs will only light at night! Perfect!

I bought this for a fixture on the side of my garage. The first worked exactly as described. I liked it so much that I added three more fixtures one the other sides today. When I went to see if they came on tonight, only two lights were lit. Investigating further by switching the bulbs into various fixtures, I found that out of the remaining four bulbs, three of the bulbs wont come on in the dark and one wont shut off no matter if its dark or light. So out of the six pack of bulbs, only two work properly. I would not recommend these bulbs. UPDATE: Sunco replaced the four bad bulbs. I installed three, they looked and worked great. First one just burned out in slightly less than two years.
