The smell is there but not tooo much...

The cure time for the resin is nice and quick. My only complaint is after fully curing the models are bit more brittle than other resins, this is a worth while trade off, supports break away cleanly and this resin is nearly half the cost.

Out of the 5 bottles I have gotten, one seemed to be a different formula with more flexible final prints, but slightly lower print quality. The others so far have produced results on par with Elegoo resin. Ill probably keep buying this as my resin of choice for every day prints, as long as I can get it on sale. If its close to the price of Elegoo resin Id just as soon get Elegoo resin. My printer is the Saturn 8k.

I started using Sunlu resin when it was relatively new on the market and I was impressed with the quality and the price. Ive been buying the 1kg grey standard resin. At the outset, I didnt need to change any exposure settings to get crisp detail and clean prints. LATELY though, I feel like the QC of the product has gone downhill quickly. Prints have been failing left, right, and center, on files Ive printed a dozen times before. Failures included failure to get good bed adhesion (yes, after leveling...), ODD failures such as the quality of the supports degrading and ripping in the middle of the supports, and peel cracks in the print where the exposed layer didnt adhere to the previously cured layers. Print detail quality is much softer when I *do* get a successful print, and it takes much longer to wash the print in IPA than it used to, even when using brand new clean IPA. And most tellingly, the IPA gets fouled a lot faster from heavy particulates. I think with some settings tweaking to increase per-layer exposure times this might be an okay resin, but when you have lots of pre-sliced models already on a drive and a cottage business to run, you dont want to waste your time going back to re-slice every single file with new settings. I just went back to my old standby resin. Its more expensive but without changing a single thing on my printer, the prints just started coming out beautifully again. I wish I could use Sunlu but until they address their quality issues (which, again, were GREAT when I started using them!) I just cant afford to waste time and money on failed prints.

Green is slightly darker then the photo image. Be away depending on printer exposure times will need to be increased. Also to much increase will result in a tumor growing on the base facing your results until you build enough layers to counter the refraction happening through the translucent. Overall alittle tricky to get perfect but once it’s dialed in and if you can afford to put your object right on the build plate it printed fine. If your looking for dimensional accuracy this might not be your choice but if it’s just an interesting object this green is incredible nice. I also mixed it with there translucent blue and a translucent red at on point with great success.

Dark grey and grey works great and are high in detail. Quickly was able to calibrate exposure time 1.6-1.8 normal layer time is great. The colored resins for me have always become grainy after a couple of print for some reason. Would not recommend those.

I am new to 3-D printing and using resin. I’ve been working with him my any cubic and I use this resin with that, and it turned out to be a very good deal the arm the images turned out beautiful. It was easy to use and understand and care for them. Can’t the images look just like the way they were supposed to buy the color or the clearness I’m being new to this crafter we are printing. I am still learning a lot, but I would definitely definitely buy this product again because it was easy for me to use and gave me great product.

I purchase 5 different 1000g bottles of this resin, ALL 5 failed to print the bottom layers correctly. I tried the settings on the bottles and on Sunlus website, and all kinds of settings in between. I even contacted Sunlu and sent them screenshots of my settings and they came back with You can try setting the exposure time to 3s which is one of the settings I tried and sent them a screenshot of! SO I wrote back pointing out that I tried that, and it was in one of the photos I sent them and they wrote back The main reason may be caused by exposure time. If you need a refund, you can contact the store.! (Terrible support experience). I really wanted this resin to work, the price was right and the colors are perfect for what I wanted to use them for. I am using a Elegoo Mars 2 which I have had no problems with ever, with any resins Ive ever ordered. It looks to me like excess resin is curing beyond the models edges, I even reduced the bottom exposure times below their suggested minimum of 20 down to 10 seconds with a normal exposure down to 2s and still got the hole at the bottom of the model filled in with lumps of cured resin. UPDATE: I dont think there is anything wrong with this resin. After talking with Elegoo they explained ALL transparent resins will have anomalies like extra exposed resin beyond the boarders in Cavities, especially on the bottom layers because the light bleeds through the transparency of the resin. I tried another brand and had similar problems. However, you would think that Sunlu, being a printer and resin manufacturer would know this and explain it to me rather than throw silly suggestions out there of common things I already tried just to get rid of me. Im adding a couple more stars for the resin as it produces beautiful results as long as the bottom doesnt have cavities or you require critical specs on something like parts that require precise measurements. As far as their Tech support, dont count on it.
