> 3 daySo far I have used this capacitor tester on several pieces of equipment and was quick to diagnose the issue being the capacitor itself with this tool. Saved me hundreds if not thousands of calling repair bunnies to fix my stuff

> 3 dayA multimeter can be used to get a go/no go indication of a good or bad capacitor. This tester gives you real values and is very compact. It also comes with its own built in leads and with two alligator clips.

> 3 dayWorked amazing! Saved $500 in service fees! Very happy to have fixed our AC Myself. I would like to test it in some other capacitors to really put it through its paces.

> 3 dayI bought this to test some high value capacitors on a vintage stereo amp I was working on. I fiddled with this thing for hours trying to just tell if one or both of the caps were bad or not. Display is almost impossible to read unless you stand on your head and hold it just right. The way the value jumps around you dont have a clue what the value is. I bought another one from China for half the price pulled it out of the box and less than 2 minutes it clearly told me both caps were good and a value I could believe. I would never recommend this to friend or foe. Oh and the quality of the construction from the bag its in to the unit is shoddy at best. I find it hard to believe i saw one on youtube and the guy liked it, maybe his worked much better than mine. You can read all of my reviews and see that when I get a good product I give a good review, by the same token when I get junk I call it junk, and this thing is junk

> 3 dayIt works ok, I really just dont find it necessary. If you already have a quality voltmeter I find it faster and more accurate to use the reverse ohms law formula. If anybody didnt know already. (Amps x 2652.7)/(Volts) = Microfarats. I find capacitors (especially cheap ones) can have significant value change as they heat up in the circuit. You wont catch those testing them while they arent running. If you have a pile of capacitors to check that you dont have powered up, this tool could be useful.
