> 24 hourThe picture hanging wire is perfect for my 87 year old mother to handle/bend when preparing art work to be hung on the wall, and yet extremely sturdy.

> 24 hourI got this stuff not thinking it would be strong enough. Maybe not soft enough. I grew up using this ridiculously hard cord and when you bend it the wrong way, you end up with a bajillion needles going through your fingertips that youll feel for the next 2 years. This stuff though. Is amazing. Covered in a hardy plastic layer, the metal is perfectly sufficient. I hang all my stuff from my picture molding in my 30s house (thisold30shouse.wordpress.com, Ill be doing a post on how to hang from picture molding) which includes mirrors, big pictures, calligraphy, and other things. This stuff is perfectly strong to hold anything and just a dream to work with. Tying off your eye loops is the exact same, but instead of wrapping it around itself 4 times, I do 8. Get this stuff, you wont regret it!!

> 24 hourThe very best picture hanging wire Ive ever used. Flexible, pliable, easy to wrap, vinyl covered and easy to cut. Unlike unwrapped picture wire, this wire is stick free and wont impale you. Ill never use any other product

> 24 hourPlastic coated and easy to put on your hangers. Twist nicely and look better than just plain old hanging wire. No edges sticking out.

> 24 hourI purchased this 2 years ago and used it on some of my paintings. Got remainder out today to use again (was stored inside my home) and it has an oily coating on it. Its like the plastic coating has started releasing oil. Will not use remainder and will never buy again.

> 24 hourAfter using some wire that I already had in a picture hanging kit I had the misfortune to have my mirror crash to the floor. The wire had simply snapped in two pieces. Thankfully nothing broke as the mirror landed on the carpet. Realizing how lucky I was having a large object fall off a wall I decided to be much smarter about my second try. I matched the weight of the mirror to the type of wire. To be sure I would not have a future accident I weighed my mirror (20 lbs) and bought this Super SoftStrand (No. 5) hanging wire which is rated to hold pictures up to a maximum of 43 lbs. The wire tie off instructions are shown in four images on the front of the (80 ft.) spool. I still need a little extra help so I went to their website. The manufacturer recommends wrapping the wire around in tight circles eight full times (see image 4). Im very happy with my purchase and certainly now feel more secure with my mirror hanging on the wall. The plastic coated wire was both easy to wrap and cut to length using wire snips. Plus since the spool is only four inches across its easy to store for my next picture hanging project.
