I bought this for my daughter. I also, a while back, I bought her a cordless Dyson vacuum cleaner. Shes a clean freak, and she loves them both. Makes me feel good because shes so picky. Anyway, she told me shes going ahead and buying the washable, reusable pads, so thats a good sign. Btw, she has mostly wood floors, a puppy and plenty of guests, so the floors get dirty. The powered spray feature is definitely a nice touch. Its just hard to know how much liquid youve used or when its almost empty. Kinda makes you buy a refill possibly way before you need it and theyre not cheap. Anyway, despite everything, its a good product and a good buy. If you do buy additional pads, just make sure you get the proper size with the edge to edge Velcro. Amen.

Its a swiffer. It does the job with a streak here and there. Definitely meant for spills and quick clean ups, not deep cleaning a floor.

The batteries sent were no good but with duracell works GREAT

Just bought my second Swiffer Wetjet (first mop lasted 2 years). I switch out the liquid cartridges quite often (from hardwood floor formula to the other formula that I use in the bathrooms and kitchen). The original mop stopped spraying (yes I replaced the batteries). I think the failure point was the mechanism that makes the needle pierce the liquid bottle. That being said I like this product enough to purchase it again. The new model only takes 2 batteries vs the 4 batteries in the older model…so hopefully the spring mechanism had been reworked too. I have dogs and this is my go to solution to puppy prints on my hardwood floors. It is quick and super easy to use. If find I myself mopping daily or every other day if it is rainy weather - and this makes it so quick and easy. I don’t recommend this for deep cleaning / sanitizing - but it works great for quick touch ups to keep the floors tidy.

Ive had a Swiffer Wet Jet for about six years now, and I was truly amazed that it lasted as long as it did. But lo and behold, I went to grab it last week, and all I ended up with was part of a handle. Ha! It broke apart in the oddest place, but considering how old it was, and that it is all plastic, Im perfectly fine with buying another. You definitely get your moneys worth out of these. I use the Swiffer Wet Jet mainly for my kitchen floor, along with my bathrooms. I have cats, the floor has always got something on it. Could be a hair ball, could be wet food spread all over the place, could be water splashed out of their fountain, and it could be they dragged something from the garbage to play with. The Wet Jet has been able to handle all of those for me in the past. This is one product that Ive found doesnt have a lot of price variation (thank you to the manufacturer), and so far, everything has been consistent. I recommend this, but keep in mind that I dont have a lot of tile flooring other than kitchen and bath and Ive never used it on hardwood, so this Wet Jet has not been in heavy use over the last six years. Keep that in mind as you shop and buy. If you plan on using this in your entire house, it may not last as long as it did for me, but then again, it might be one of those purchases that hang on forever.

This is great for spot cleaning. It is light and pretty easy to turn corners with and cleans spots well but I still need a mop to deep clean.
