Tackform 20mm Aluminum Ball to 17mm Ball Adapter Compatible with Garmin and Other GPS Devices with 17mm Balls

Need to be a little thicker. But if you add some rubber will work better, size is perfect

I needed this adapter to attach a phone mount (that uses a 17mm ball) to an extension arm (that uses a 20mm ball), and it worked perfectly. All aluminum means its heavy and strong, and the best part of this adapter is that the metal balls do not warp or flatten out when you tighten the clamps (unlike a plastic version). Worth the extra cost over plastic for sure.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the adapter. It is constructed of steel and has a textured finish on each on the 17mm and 20mm ball ends of the dog bone adapter. It worked perfectly!

Used it to go from a mount to a wireless charging platform. Worked great.

I mean...its a metal bar w/a metal ball on either end. The only way it doesnt work is if you didnt have the size right. Thats on the customer.

Bought this to add my Garmin unit to my Bulletpoint mounting system. Works as intended.

Used this to join a generic MagSafe mount with my Bulletpoint mount in my Jeep. Worked out well and the metal construction vs. the plastic found on others is way better.

Snaps right into my existing cellphone mount. Seems 17mm is the standard size.

The 20mm ball end was under-sized, so would not tighten in the fixture without using electrical tape.
