This product is simple to use, not complicated at all. I purchased to test my outlets for grounding connectivity. I have purchased grounding sheets and needed to make sure my plugs and power bars were properly grounded so I could get the full effect. I highly recommend. Great voltage tester, quick and accurate, however the ground pin seems to be a design flaw. Mine has fallen out and wont stay in place. Going to try super glue since I am out of my warranty period. Wish me luck cross fingers
