Greater than one weekThe Tajima Tool Corp. Has created a well made, strong, retractable blade utility knife. Once set the blade length up to 3 will not slip. Ideal for box cutting, cutting dry wall or slicing 2 thick insulation. Some may object to having to turn the knob to tighten the blade position, but well worth the time to ensure a stable blade.

> 3 dayBest utility knife! I had Dewalt knives for years and the plastic buttons kept falling off so I couldnt lock the blades and would have to buy a whole new knife. Even when it did lock, there were times the blade would slip in or out during spirited use. This one has a rubber knob thats easy to rotate to lock and unlock the blade. The lock is very secure.

Greater than one weekDecently made. Comparable to Olfas knives. Locks securely, good grip. However, I found that when I need this size blade for cutting tougher material, its best to go to a standard utility knife with the trapezoidal blades (i.e. Stanley, Irwin, Milwaukee, etc), as those blades are stiffer, and one can even buy extra stiff trapezoidal blades if needed.
