Im 6 and 280lbs and this fits me really well. Adjustments are excellent. Wore this to Washington DC a few weeks ago.

Did a 4.5 mile hike near Palmer Lake, Colorado. The pack was very comfortable for the 2 or so hours I was walking. Stays close to the back and I sweat less than my other pack. The waist belt took some pressure off my back which I needed. And the pole holder works very well once you learn how to do it.

The pack is fine, however I wish I would have believed the reviewer’s who said the hydration bladder was hard to put in. A 2 liter bladder will barely fit through the opening when filled up. I wouldn’t buy it again

Very well thought out design. Lightweight but durable. You get what you pay for with Osprey packs

I’m amazed how comfortable it is on long hikes. Straps work well even if you’re tall and have broad shoulders. Lightweight yet seems durable. Plenty of pockets to keep your stuff accessible. Perfect size for day trips and to pack a lunch. I would NOT recommend it for any actual overnight or light camping.

Light backpack, holds a good amount of items. The only complaint is there is no ventilation space in the backplate. Very nice pack.

Best one I’ve ever had! So far exceeding my expectations

Overall, the pack is very well built and comfortable to use. I like the fact that you can stow and unstow your trekking poles without having to take off the pack itself. The big negative, unfortunately, is that inserting a full water bladder is kind of a fight. The opening is right behind the adjustment panel for the shoulder straps and is very narrow. You cant really get your hand / arm in there along with a full bladder in order to seat it correctly. You have to rely on gravity and some shaking. I wouldnt want to try and refill it while on the trail.

Osprey is one of my favorite outdoor brands. I have owned several of their backpacks over the years and they have never failed me. I typically dont buy anything else. The Osprey Talon 22 is a medium sized daypack that is perfect for slightly longer day hikes given its capacity.

One of the most versatile technical pack series ever created, the Talon/Tempest is now sustainably designed with recycled high-tenacity nylon. A BioStretch harness, continuous-wrap hipbelt and an injection-molded, die-cut foam AirScape® backpanel move with you on the most technical terrain. The Talon/Tempest Pro is made with lightweight and durable NanoFly® fabric—perfect for adventurous full-day pursuits requiring technical gear or light-and-fast missions.
