> 3 dayI bought this 2tb SATA III internal SSD for $72. Amazing value. I was a little worried that the performance would be poor but I am getting sustained writes just below 500MB/s and sustained reads just over 500MB/s. Very, very large writes eventually slow down but I was able to get decent speeds even when writing 500gb consisting of several hundred thousand of files for a big backup task – took about 30 minutes or an average of half the smaller sustained write speed which isnt spectacular but perfectly fine. And completely expected. Reads never slow down, its only writes that eventually get slower. In normal operation where you are writing only small amounts to the drive at any one time even if youre reading very large amounts, you will never see the speeds drop below about 500MB/s. This is a great archive, backup, and general storage drive. It cant compete with really fast modern SSDs with faster interfaces but the performance is right in line with other inexpensive SSDs using a SATA III interface. Most of those other inexpensive SSDs are more expensive than this one, sometimes a lot more expensive. I have it in a USB 3 gen1 enclosure and I can boot my computer with it just fine. Its certainly not the best boot drive but youd pay quite a bit more for a better boot drive let alone a best one. Just got it today so I cant speak about longevity. The TBW specified by the manufacturer for the 2tb version which I got is pretty good. I dont plan to ever fill it up more than just a bit past halfway and its for incremental backups so after today the writes will be pretty small and therefore I expect it will last me for as long as I care to keep it in service.

> 3 dayGot it as a replacement for Fusion Drive I had in my iMac. Didn’t do much speed testing on but looks like fast enough.

> 3 dayI upgrade old laptops with extra RAM + a NEW SSD and sell them sometimes - These SSDs are outperforming western Digital BLUE drives, so I will use Teamgroup instead of Western Digital from now on .. notable speed increase and reliability, no bad errors in windows. all smooth and going well to date. True of 256GB and 512G I have not bought anything bigger.

> 3 dayHaving just received this new, it was formatted for the first time in a hdd enclosure without problem. I have not benchmarked it, but I suspect it will function on par with other SSD in its class. Only time will tell how welll it holds up. Thats the only real reason I gave it only 4 stars instead of 5. I may change that rating later based on performance later. I cant speak for modern gaming speeds. There are better options out there for that. But as a simple upgrade from a mechanical hard drive or smaller/older ssd, you will likely notice some performance increase. For the price, its an affordable replacement or upgrade.

> 3 day$45 bucks for 1TB of SSD? Thats a great price in toadys market, maybe its a few MBs slower than competing brands, but its still HUNDREDs of MBs faster than HDD. I bought 2, used EASEUS Todo Backup to clone Windows laptops. Went without a hitch. (Dont forget youll need a USC -> SATA III adapter cable for the cloning process). Both systems boot in seconds instead of minutes for only $45. Worth it. No problems so far after a couple months of operation. (Remember to retain your old HDD in case you are forced to do it again if the SSD fails).

> 3 dayVery low price ($25 for 512GB). Works fine in a RAID1. Decent speed. It was odd that the 2-pack cost several dollars more than just buying 2 of the drives as individuals. (Im sure some customers made that mistake and felt ripped-off.) Hopefully they will last as many years as my non-Teamgroup SSDs have lasted. Good job TeamGroup! (Fix the 2-pack pricing issue and keep your customers happy.)

> 3 dayBeen Daily driving for a few months now and happy with the performance especially for the price.. Would buy again! Have it in an old HP WAVE along with the NVME Variant of this same drive and the machine purrs along way better than how it came originally with a 128gb NVME and 1TB HDD.

> 3 dayEasy to install using Acronis software. Made a huge difference in the performance of this old laptop!
