> 3 dayFor the light cleaning that I intended them for, the bristles are much stiffer than I require, but Im sure I will find a use for them.

> 3 dayAt the time I purchased these brushes they cost $7.99 for a ten pack, thus, they obviously only cost about 79 cents each. Given their low price I would rate them 4 stars. You can only expect to achieve about 5-10 minutes of run time from them during mild to moderate buffing, and considerably less when exerting heavier pressure. From my experience, the brass is soft enough to brush most metals without scratching, and they seem to be ideal for removing rust from small tools, etc. They certainly are not the equivalent of high-quality brass brushes costing considerably more, but then again, they are only 79 cents. I strongly suggest wearing eye protection when using these (as you should with any power tool) because the little bristles WILL fly out and hit you. Thats the only reason I knocked off one star. Other than that, from a cost to performance comparison, theyre worth purchasing.

> 3 dayThese brushes are ok. Had to put on safety glasses very shortly after starting a project due to wires coming apart and flying everywhere.

> 3 dayI purchased these to use with a dremel to clean carbon build up off of a set of aluminum cylinderheads for a v8. While I was able to clean most of the carbon off of them, the wheels fall apart quickly, even at low speeds and pressure. They fail at the center of the wheel where the wires are held to the pressed metal. They simply fly out of the disk if you push a bit to hard. The same wheels from dremel last tremendously longer and actually break the wires. I wont be purchasing them again.

> 3 dayThese little gems fit a drill chuck just as well as a dremel motor. They are being used to clean out primer pockets when reloading ammo. They work like a gem!

> 3 dayI bought these cause they were quite a bit cheaper than the Dremel brand. But they dont hold up near as well.

16-11-2024I bought these wire brushes to remove paint from window hardware using my Dremel. They didnt take the paint down to bare metal, and they wore out quickly. I thought I could use them in place of heating and scraping, but the paint was not coming off. At first I thought the brush was working because I could feel the chips flying and hitting my arms and face. But it turned out it wasnt paint chips flying off, it was the wire brushes coming out of the cup. I was using the Dremel at the lowest speed - I guess I was pressing too hard. I went through three of them in a matter of a few minutes. Im giving this a 3 star rating because perhaps this wasnt the right application for this product. When I realized it wasnt working, I used the heat gun and scraper on a couple hardware pieces, and then used the wire brush to clean the metal and take off some tiny leftover pieces of paint. It worked for that, but for what I really wanted it to do - these didnt work.

Greater than one weekThese brushes do what they are supposed to do as NYLON brushes which is to be used on softer materials. They perform extremely well when used with common sense and do the job they were made to do extremely well. AND: they are a tremendous bargain. Thanks Golden Coulee and Amazon

> 3 dayI was hoping for a little more stiffness in the brush as they seem to collect more residue than I imagined, but for the price, cant complain too much. They probably are great for the right application or job.

Greater than one weekThese do not last but a few seconds if you use it for grout BUT when youre using it with the cleaner (and goggles with pants and long sleeve shirt) it lasts longer. You have to be gentle with it and it works fine but its nothing compared to what Dremel brush does.
