I gave 4: stars because the batteries that came with the device only lasted for 3 uses before they died. I need to buy more batteries and hope they last longer, as its not practical to need to get new batteries every week. The device itself worked great and helped with my upper back pain. It felt comparable to the E-stim machine used by my chiropractor.

In 2015 I suddenly had pain in my buttocks. It turned out to be severe stenosis with nerves being impinged. I had a laminectomy which helped for a while, and then the pain returned. Then I herniated a disc that reherniated. For the last several months Ive had growing significant pain which is that times extreme. From the beginning, the only thing that relieved the pain was opioids. I hated taking insane because of the Cardiology and gastroenterology issues, but I did take everything from ketorolac to celecoxib to ibuprofen. Ive taken neurontin, Lyrica, methocarbamol, and other stuff to know avail. Im now on 60 mg of morphine three times a day and it does nothing. The tolerance finally caught up to me. Over the years Ive had several different physical therapists and among all of them only one physical therapist try the TENS on me. (The physical therapist I have now did, but more on that later.) After the first back surgery, a laminectomy from l3 to l5, I had one of my several sessions of physical therapy. In that one the physical therapist took me up to a TENS machine for a little bit and then ask me if it helped. Well it didnt help as far as I could tell so that was the end of the TENS machine. Because of COVID, I searched for online physical therapy when I was once again referred to it. I found AIT and this is by far the best experience in physical therapy Ive ever had. I am one on one with the therapist for the entire time. They really have gotten to know me as we are able to talk at length and she can watch me do my exercises without having to go to other people and with that one-on-one guidance, Ive had much better results. And, she guided me on using the TENS unit. If I had known about this and then guided in its use a long time ago I would not be on any medication. If I have a pain that wont go away, I get a break from it which is a major relief. A pain that I write at two or three if it just came and went becomes a seven or eight if it never quits. Ive been using this for about a month now and I havent had a pain yet that the TENS didnt address at least while it was being used. And, more often than not, the pain will go away after using the unit. Before I had the TENS unit, getting off of the mat that I sleep on on the floor when I woke up in the morning was excruciating. I would do my PT exercises and that would make it a lot better, but getting started on the exercises was dreadful. Now I put on my TENS patches before starting the exercises and the difference is huge. It has taken a little experimentation to know where to put the patches. I have nerves down my calf that dont work, so putting the patches on them doesnt help with the pain. But if I put the patches on the area where these nerves are going down the leg above the calves, that takes care of the pain or reduces it significantly. So you have to experiment to find the right placement. The other thing about this 7000 TENS unit is that it is extremely durable. I often have the tens going as I move around in the wires get caught on something and it goes flying off and bounces on our hardwood floor, bathroom tile, or kitchen tile. It has survived and remained in perfect shape. Really yall, Im having surgery in a couple of weeks on the reherniation and my biggest dread is the process of getting off this high dose of morphine after the surgery. If I had had the TENS machine earlier, I wouldnt have that to look forward to.

After purchasing 2 other cheaper quality devices, I opted for this one. The functionality and power of this unit is far superior to other brands. Just be sure to purchase extra pads as the ones provided are thin and will only last so long. Great product!

I had the earlier model, TENS 3000, which was excellent, so I didnt hesitate to buy this. I just want a basic TENS unit, not 1,500 different modalities and acrobatics for the machine to do -- just good old, basic TENS. This unit is super simple to operate....easy to understand, easy to use, easy to control, easy to pack back up when done. I use it while reading, watching TV etc. Its easy-on, easy-off. Depending on how experienced you are in determining exactly where you electrode pads need to be, the machine does the rest and the controls are simple. I looked at a lot of others before buying this, thinking maybe I needed nouveau features. I dont. I use a TENS for basic pain relief and thats what this delivers. It may not be super razzle-dazzle -- but I like simplicity and I like to get what I WANT in a product. And I did.

Very pleased with purchase. Nice compact, several settings. I’ve got lymphedema and this helps circulation in my ankles.

What I like about the Tens 7000 Digital it is much better than my BioTens2, I Had to purchase a 9 volt because .... What I disliked is that the Tens Cell Super Heavy-Duty 9 volt battery the comes with the Tens 7000 Digital didnt last 30 minutes at ONLY SECONDS LIKE 4 OR 5. So trying the product with the tens cell was not good at all because it lasted on seconds, then later I put a new 9 volt battery in it and then it worked. I use it mostly everyday sometimes twice a day needed as for my pain. I really, really like this product. Good job for the product but not for the tens cell super heavy duty 9 volt battery. Can you replace the tens cell battery.

Thought I’d electrocute myself because it looks like it came in something I’d charge my car battery with.

I was iffy about purchasing after scrolling through many options. I have been using it for three weeks now, and it works great. I have not replaced the battiers so far. I highly recommend it.

The unit is easy to use and is just what I needed for my back pain. The pads lasted me about ten uses which is a little more than I expected. Very happy with my purchase!

The heavy duty battery that is provided is meant to last only an hour max, which I dont understand but maybe Im missing something. Unfortunately, this one fell short. The battery that was included was already starting to corrode and was completely dead. Having to go out to buy a battery was an inconvenience. But once I replaced the battery it works well, so far.
