Texas Instruments TI-84 PLUS CE Graphing Calculator, Black (Frustration-Free Packaging) (84PLCE/PWB/2L1/A)

While solving quadratic equations with substitutions I had following problem. 9(216^2/3)-53(216^1/3) comes out to 6 as expected, but 9(216^2/3)-53(216^1/3)-6 comes out as 2e-11. Even doing 9(216^2/3)-53(216^1/3) solving then doing ans-6 produces 2e-11. It was already a slap in the face I had to buy this stupidly over priced calculator and cant use my phone, but to have it be this expensive and not even work right is extremely disappointing. I have only used it one day to find this problem and Im sure it wont be the last one I find.

My son had use the same product many years ago so I got the same one for my daughter. The functionalities are the same. It works great. However, the material seems made of the cheaper plastic and easy to get scratched. Overall, it doesn’t look like the same quality as the one my son had.

Don’t recommend this product. When I received the calculator it had scratches all over the case and screen. Even without the scratches the product felt cheap and worn like it was used before. Hard pass.

I was a little skeptical as I had read all these reviews where people said they didn’t receive the item. I decided to pay for expedited shipping as my son needed this sooner for school. The item was delivered in the time frame they said it would be. It is a very nice calculator and so far does everything it’s supposed to! Have had it for about a month-no issues.

Bought it for my daughter in junior high, because thats what some of her classmates had although they had the b&w version. The area around the screen came scratched right out of its packaging - thats why giving one less star. My daughter didnt care that it was scratched, so kept it.

Upside: lots of functions Downside: functions I needed where not there. I needed to be able to graph x and y equations but couldn’t. I ended up having to watch You Tube videos for instruction.
