> 3 dayThis is an advance math calculator. Think pre-calculus, calculus, advanced statistics or quantitative analysis. College Board approved for SAT. Using colored graphs helps for intersection functions.

> 3 dayBought two of these for my kids at $150 a pop. One came cut open at the top... not happy about this. Hoping that it works and wasn’t repackaged and used. Only time will tell. But at that price tag and expecting brand new I expect my item to come fully enclosed in its packaging. Mind you this packaging is not easy to open. Therefore, it looks as though it was cut open.

19-11-2024I ordered a black calculator with frustration free packaging for my son, but got a white one. Thank God it was not pink! He said he is OK with pink and was only a couple weeks until the school started, so we did not return it. TI calculators dont see to come with the thick manual books with all the functions anymore. So you have to constantly go online if you need to learn something about this TI model. Which is frustrating because other than a calculator and a simple watch, our middle school does not allow the use of electronics (such as internet-enabled cell phones) in school.

Greater than one weekIm sure this is a good calculator, I havent gotten too far into the functions (though there is a steep learning curve). There are a few other issues that make the product difficult to use. 1) Who thought that using light blue and green together on a black surface would be helpful? Its impossible for me to tell the difference between the two colors that represent 2nd and alpha modes. I had to use a flashlight to be able to see the colors clearly, something that you may not have access to in a classroom. Another color that contrasts better would have been good. I was able to go off of the location, blue in the upper left of a key, green in the upper right, to tell which key/mode I was looking for. Except, the off button/mode is swapped. Just really poorly thought out. 2) No backspace button is a crime. Sure, you can use the arrow keys to go back, then use the delete key to clear the character under the cursor. But a calculator that was a fraction of the price of this, actually has a backspace button. Overall, Im not really that impressed with this calculator. I got it for the extra memory, as it will handle larger tables than my cheaper one. But if you dont need to process large tables (40+ entries), stick with a less expensive model. This one is actually disappointing, especially considering the price. If you cant get the UI correct, what are you even doing?
