Kenwyn Whitford
> 24 hourAt least with F. Scott Fitzgeralds book, there was enough substance to keep reading, but this was too much in-your-face noise thrown at you. I get that it was to be a 20s era, but enough with the loud party scenes, just so that costuming can assault your senses. Acting was cold. There was no more personality in Redfords performance than that of Mia Farrow. Both characters came across that they had signed up to do the movie, but they left passion at home. I find it hard to recommend this movie.

> 24 hourSticks closely to book. Beautiful clothes, homes, cars. Ralph Lauren designed the clothes for Gatsby. Feels like the 1920s.

> 24 hourIt doesnt get any better than this; as much as I liked the modern Gatsby, it still cant beat this classic with Robert Redford & Mia Farrow. Excellent version that actually follows the book, unlike the more modern version. Its full of all sorts of nuances that I feel F. Scott Fitzgerald would have appreciated.
