> 24 hourA fun movie thats even better when its free on Prime, with literary characters posing as an 1800s version of The Avengers. The plot is predictable, but enjoyable since all or most of the characters are directly from from literature of that time with the Invisible Man, Allan Quartermain, Dr. Jekyl transforming into a pre-Hulk Mr. Hyde, Mina Harker being the female vampire character, the immortal Dorian Gray, Captain Nemo with his Nautilus, and you get the drift. A light souffle at best.

> 24 hourI have to admit, I love this movie. Its a guilty pleasure of mine. Its funny, and it brings a bunch of literary characters all together trying to save the world. I know a lot of critics will say this movie is a lemon and how Sean Connerys acting is flat and like he gave up on this movie. I dont see it like that. His character is sarcastic and dry, yes. However I can truly see how reluctant heroes can become sarcastic and dry.

> 24 hourI left my husband home alone and low and behold he purchased this movie via Amazon prime. First of all I was impressed that my sweetie pie had figured out how to work our firestick, secondly this is a good movie. This movie reminds me of the Indiana Jones series of movies.

> 24 hourI absolutely love this movie. I have watched it many times. I love westerns, l watched with my dad as a child and l love sci-fi. Where can you see a Vampire, Capt. Nemo, Dorian Gray, Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde, the Invisible Man and Allan Quatramain who is played by Sean Connery who happen to work together to fight evil Dr. Moriarty in one movie. Well this movie gets a high adventure star from me.

> 24 hourThis film is an antidote to our clockwork orange world. It brings to life the collective works of writers who genuinely understood the extremes of human mind and humankind. This work, focuses its energy on character rather than non-stop gratuitious excitement. If your enjoyment is derived from having your senses continuously assualted, this may not be the right film for you. However, if you know something of the characters and their internal turmoil, you will completely enjoy this work. This is a nice film, suitable for family veiwing. While it has its terrifying moments, they last only so long as is required to impart the needed effect. A knowledge of the original stories from which these characters are derived is not essential. However knowing something of the stories will deepen the meaning of this film for you. At a time when so many pretend extreme living, we have here a work that imparts the truth of extreme life. Enjoy!

> 24 hourTHIS was the film that got Sir Sean Connery to give up on-screen acting for the rest of his life. From 2003 onward, he did only voiceover roles.
