You get about 3 panels before its soaked and then it streaks the rest of the way, requiring the 2nd towel. Hard to ring out. Will leave scratches on paint-no matter how clean the rag or the paint is. But that said one town will dry the roof and hood, you almost need 3-4 of them. Air drying takes way too long on non coated/protected cars so Maybe stock up on these or the competitor the dreadnaught or whatever its called.

I usually dont write reviews. But these really impressed me. Ive tried many different types/brands of drying towels. These are the best Ive tried. Bought more. FWIW: I washed these with All Free and Clear and air dried them before their first use. I also used ONR diluted as a drying agent.

These were a gift for my brother who loves to wash/ wax cars. He raves about these as best towels he’s ever used. They used to come in pack of 5 and a smaller size. He just cut them down.

These are some of the top drying micro fibers towels I have ever used. Use them every weekend to dry off my jet skis and they do a great job, even after being washed multiple times.

Exceptionally soft and absorbent waffle towels. For years Ive used CG waffle towels to dry my car. I always had to use two towels because the first was soaking wet about halfway through drying the car. With these Rag Company waffle towels I can completely dry the whole car (Audi B9 A4) and the towel is still absorbing and not completely soaked. I should add that the CG towels are slightly larger so that right there tells you how absorbent the towels are. If you having trouble with this Rag Company towel your using it wrong. 1. wash your car. 2. Take the spray nozzle off your water hose and run water over the car from the top down. This is called flooding the car. It will leave much less water on the car. 3. Mist your favorite drying aid (Duragloss Aquawax, Beadmaker etc) lightly on each side of the towel. 4. Dry your car. The 20x40 version of this towel will easily dry a full size car without streaking or having to wring it out. Best drying towel on the market hands down.

They seem like nice microfiber rags. Not thin and the texture seems like it does take a little of the elbow grease away

I use one to soak up most of the water and the second one for the finish. Great thick waffle weave drying towel and soft. Soaks up a ton of water and I like them much better than my other green drying towels that are much thinner
