I reconditioned cars for the better part of a decade, both in part as a hobby and as a trade. These towels are absolutely remarkable!! The people giving them a bad review either dont know a good towel from a bad towel or they are NOT washing them in the proper solution! You do NOT use regular laundry detergent because they will turn these ( and most microfibers) into a brick!! Also if your seams are splitting you might be using the wrong wash cycle. I understand there will be a few duds in a new batch but Ive yet to encounter that. I currently use the following brands: Chemical guys, Black Fire, Cobra, Griots, and a few others. Without a doubt, the Rag Companys towels are as good or better and the price is right on! This particular towel is a Must have when using spray waxes, quick detailers or a waterless wash. Dont use these for removing compounds or waxes, this is a final step towel. In addition, I did NOT pre-wash these towels and they produced NO lint. My black fire towels as soft as they are, produce lint like its their business. Buy these towels, your vehicle will thank you later!!

Super soft. Great for the final buff.

I previously had purchased a competing waffle weave towel, but needed additional ones as one was insufficient to complete the job. I found that these not only did a better job of drying, but were significantly softer as well. If I had a complaint (and this is paradoxical), it would be that they almost absorb too much water! As a result, Im finding out that the two of these that I bought picks up so much water that I need more of them!

I got the 16 x 16 pack and they are such versatile towels. For drying my entire car (15 WRX) it took only two towels! Then with the others from the pack I was able to wipe off prep spray, polish, or whatever else. Theyre so crazy soft that I wouldnt really recommend them for the windows but thats where I love that The Rag Company has towels for that too. If youre going to obsess over the products you use for your car dont stop at the towels! Having the right towels makes such a big difference and can keep your cleaning from making more scratches. These are definitely a must have!

Pre washed, used once and rewashed and now they are scratching the paint. Expensive towel for only getting one use out of them! Would love a refund!
