> 3 dayThis product was well made, very absorbent and soft to touch . I only need this two towel to dry my SUV. After using my air blower. You better wash this towel before using. Ja!

> 3 dayThis is the best drying towel I ever used! It is very thick and can absorb a lot of water. So you can finish drying your car with one towel. I loved it so much, and ended up buying another towel in smaller size as well.

Greater than one weekGreat product, thick, absorbs, but! Strings came out loose on the first dry/wash... second dry/wash it developed a hole and more loose strings. It would be better if you guys would double stitch three sides then blind stitched one side. It would made a better product. If not, just sew with a serger for a borderless towel.

> 3 dayVery soft, very thick when wet. Absorbs water too well for its thickness, not easy to wring out

> 3 dayI am wowed by this towel. The absorbency is great and just keeps drying. I was able to dry my entire truck with only one towel and no need to ring out. Love it!

> 3 dayThis review is for the 30 x 36 The Gauntlet Microfiber Drying Towel from The Rag Company. Ive been using microfiber for years of various qualities and grades, and I have amassed a garage full of car care products over the years. I was looking for the absolute best drying towel that I could find for my car. I wanted something that was plush, extremely absorbent, and had some weight to it so that I could drag it over non-flat surfaces to absorb the water. I also of course wanted something that wasnt going to leave streaks of water behind. I did a lot of searching and going through many reviews. The absolute best drying towel I found was The Gauntlet. It does the job flawlessly. I am able to drag the towel across the car and absorb all the water without leaving streaks in just a single pass. I had no problem drying my car with just this single 30 x 36 towel. The plushness made it easy to dry vents, slats, and wipe down edges. I also very much like that each side is a different color. It is a nice convenient feature as you can keep track of which side you have been using so far. The towel felt like it weight about 5 lbs after I was done drying my car. This towel could have absorbed more water, as no matter how hard I squeezed or tried to ring it out not a single drop of water came out. I have seen multiple review where people were able to dry their entire car with just one of the smaller 20 x 30 sizes, and I fully believe it. I recommend consider the size and weight after it absorbs water, and go with the size you prefer. Pretty much all microfiber will work better after the first wash or two. This is so that any potential loose dyes come out, removes any potential residue/contaminants from manufacturing/shipping, and also opens up the microfibers. This will increase its cleaning and absorbency and reduce the potential for any dye transfer. Always be sure to wash microfiber only with other microfiber and to follow all directions. Microfiber gets ruined if you use fabric softener or if you dry it with heat that it cant withstand.

31-03-2025I have used Gyeon, Griots and other Rag Co products and none work as well as this one. Dries very well and is good for dusting/light waterless washes also. Very soft and a lot of variation in nap which helps trap dirt in the towel instead of scratching your car. The Griot PFM and the Rag Co Liquid8r may be equal or just slightly more absorbent but this is a better all round drying towel.
