> 3 dayIf you have a 12th or 13th gen processor, this is a must have. I installed this frame on two different computers and it dropped temps by at least 8 degrees on each. Install is super easy if you follow the steps in the Gamers Nexus youtube video.

> 3 dayLiterally dropped temps by 20c just by adding this to my i5 12600k.

> 3 dayLook I realize Thermal Grizzly basically thought of these as a solution for the 1700 socket bend but they’re super expensive and hard to find in the States. And yes, there are even some builders that believe these contact frames are just a trend and are nothing more than a security blanket for a nonissue. And in same cases that’s absolutely true. Some CPUs IHS are perfectly fine with the socket bend I had 4 that were completely fine with or without the contact frame. But after 15 builds with extreme socket bend making for poor contact with heatsinks I can say this helps more often than not. This contact frame has lowered temps by upwards of 8C on my builds and yes I tested each one. So yes, in my professional opinion Intel created a problem, never addressed it and these are the best solution, especially for anything Core i7 and up. The fact that Thermal Right created these at such a reasonable price and are indeed just as effective as Thermal Grizzly’s (check Gamers Nexus) seems too good to be true, but as I’ve said I’ve used these on 15 builds and they’re worth every penny.

Greater than one weekThis product didnt reduce the temps too much, maybe 5C at full load. However, I got this product for the longevity of the CPU health. This way I can guarantee CPU bend doesnt happen over time.

> 3 dayOnce I saw a video on this item, I decided to purchase one. It is as good, if not better than the name-brand one. Dont waste your money getting a name-brand one. This one does a great job keeping the CPU flat and has proper contact wth your cooling device.

> 3 dayWhen I bought my i7-13700K, the CPU would randomly spike to 100 °C while idle and stay at that temperature for 4 to 5 minutes. I upgraded my CPU cooler to a corsair 420 mm CPU watercooler, but the same issue occurred, although it didnt stay as long at 100 °C. The problem disappeared when I switched to the Thermalright contact frame. I also noticed an improvement in the average temperature of the CPU at idle and under load. It is clear that this contact frame helps the CPU behave in a better way, especially for a CPU that is known to overheat.

> 3 dayI honestly did not watch the review of this plate on Gamers Nexus. I did watch Steves review of the Thermal Grizzly one though but when I saw how much it was going for I was like NOPE. I thought well lets spend $12 and if it sucks then Ill buy Der8auers. I love the lil German guy. Honestly I just slapped this one on. Didnt do all that putting marks on the screws and slowly tightening it down like Mike did. Temps were lower than the GN reviews so I guess I slapped it on my 13900k right. I am using a 360 Lian Li AIO though. So go ahead and buy it. If you get something different then you may need to remount it or have one that may be out of tolerance.

> 3 dayI have to say that this new approach to CPU retention has been an amazing surprise. After reading reviews from some well-recognized testing & bench-marking experts, I decided to give it a try. Installation following the online video was simple. After installing the CPU cooler and running it under monitoring software at high-demand usage for several hours, I noticed a real drop in CPU temps!! I am sold!

Greater than one weekThis is my first build in 4.5 years, so this time around I wanted to do tons of research. Im installing a CPU water cooler for the first time ever and researching that a fair amount led me to these CPU brackets. Ive never been satisfied with the cheezy, light weight CPU brackets/fasteners which come standad on MBs. This seemed like a valuable asset for just $14. Im running a 13th Gen Intel on an MSI Z690 ACE MB. As you can see from the pic, the fit looks very clean and the aluminum bracket is well machined. I do not know if temps will be lowered vs the stock guillotine bracket but it sure holds the Intel in place far better. And that can only be good.
