> 24 hourInstalled this on my Asus Maximus Z790 Hero with no problems. Used factory screws from motherboard and no issues. Make sure to tighten in criss cross pattern to make sure it tightens evenly and doesn’t bend. Highly recommend as this also lowered my CPU temps on my 13900k

> 24 hourBefore installing this contact frame on my i7 13700k, I was getting temps around mid 70’s while playing Escape From Tarkov and Insurgency Sandstorm. I have my cpu undervolted by .1 and overclocked by 100mhz (very mild imo). I’m about 5 hours into gaming after installing, and my MAX cpu package temp so far has been 68C, but average is 60C!!! That is a huge improvement from before. Very glad I spend the 12 bucks!

> 24 hourI tried this modification because I didnt like how much torque was being applied to my CPU when using the stock fastener. I am not sure if it was actually bending the chip but it was under too much pressure in my opinion. Temps improved slightly. Easy to remove original and install and looks cleaner than original silver clamp. Comes with tool to remove and reinstall screws.

> 24 hourWhen I bought my i7-13700K, the CPU would randomly spike to 100 °C while idle and stay at that temperature for 4 to 5 minutes. I upgraded my CPU cooler to a corsair 420 mm CPU watercooler, but the same issue occurred, although it didnt stay as long at 100 °C. The problem disappeared when I switched to the Thermalright contact frame. I also noticed an improvement in the average temperature of the CPU at idle and under load. It is clear that this contact frame helps the CPU behave in a better way, especially for a CPU that is known to overheat.

> 24 hourOnce I saw a video on this item, I decided to purchase one. It is as good, if not better than the name-brand one. Dont waste your money getting a name-brand one. This one does a great job keeping the CPU flat and has proper contact wth your cooling device.

> 24 hourLiterally dropped temps by 20c just by adding this to my i5 12600k.

> 24 hourLook I realize Thermal Grizzly basically thought of these as a solution for the 1700 socket bend but they’re super expensive and hard to find in the States. And yes, there are even some builders that believe these contact frames are just a trend and are nothing more than a security blanket for a nonissue. And in same cases that’s absolutely true. Some CPUs IHS are perfectly fine with the socket bend I had 4 that were completely fine with or without the contact frame. But after 15 builds with extreme socket bend making for poor contact with heatsinks I can say this helps more often than not. This contact frame has lowered temps by upwards of 8C on my builds and yes I tested each one. So yes, in my professional opinion Intel created a problem, never addressed it and these are the best solution, especially for anything Core i7 and up. The fact that Thermal Right created these at such a reasonable price and are indeed just as effective as Thermal Grizzly’s (check Gamers Nexus) seems too good to be true, but as I’ve said I’ve used these on 15 builds and they’re worth every penny.

> 24 hourWas skeptical at first even after watching all the videos online about this but it really worked, dropped my temps by about 5-7 degrees on both my 12th and 13th Gen CPU’s. Recommending this to all my friends!
