Thule Chasm Backpack 26L – Durable and Weather Resistant

This backpack is amazing quality. Ive loved everything Thule Ive ever had. The brand has always had exceptional products last last forever. This backpack is so nice and is made to last. Great for short trips, school, or work. Its made durable and can take a lot of use. I like all the different pockets and the side opening on the laptop part. Such a great backpack, Im beyond satisfied.

The Thule Chasm Backpack is of good quality and Im impressed with the construction and material of the bag. The material looks like it would be able to withstand any kind of weather condition, whether it be rain or shine. I used this bag to move recently. I used this bag recently for a day trip. I was able to pack it with a lot of things that I needed for my trip, i.e. a water a 40 oz water bottle which fit easily in thr side pocket of the bag, 2 fall jackets, 2 small umbrellas, etc. The weight of all these things did not make it difficult to carrg the bag at all nor did it cut into my shoulders like so many bags Ive used before. I feel confident that this bag can be used for a multitude of things, e.g. as a carry on bag , camping bag, etc. I dont think that will be much of an issue if traveling on a plane being used as a carry on or a personal item. It has a lot of storage especially for things like a laptop and possibly a tablet. There is a comparement for sunglasses and a smaller for pens and pencils. This bag is definitely worth the price.

I will admit Im a bit of a Thule fan girl. I really like their products and dont mind the premium price for premium goods. This backpack is good in the construction. I would like more padding on the shoulder straps. For some reason this backpack feels like it pulls back and down, I dont know if its a problem anyone else would have or my narrow shoulders but it feels somewhat awkward. there is a thin strap in front with a closure that gives an added feel of security. The construction of the pack is top notch and their is ample storage.

Very well designed backpack which keeps load on the shoulders minimal, and is full of useful storage compartments for one to stay organized.

I am using this to carry my streaming kit with the laptop, SOLID and best for the bucks. Looks very sturdy

Really well designed and solidly constructed. High quality materials. Looks great. Excellent weight distribution. In some backpacks items just fall to the bottom making it awkward to carry on your bag. Comfortable to wear. Perfect layout of pockets and compartments. Keeps its shape regardless of what you put in it. Love the laptop accessibility from the side, and also the side handle, which actually works well because the backpack keeps its shape pretty much regardless of how its handled. My only slight complaint is that a laptop can bounce back and forth while you walk if thats all you have in the pack. Solved pretty simply by stuffing another small item in there.

Fell apart in a month, cheap zipper literally threw 130$ in the trash buying this... Emailed Thule customer service and got no response. Would definitely not recommend and will think twice before purchasing another Thule product.

Thule product reference isn’t updated to show current fit. This bag will fit a MacBook Pro 16 even with a full cover, there’s plenty of room to move it in and out of the side access without struggle. Very nice bag.

Excited to try out the Thule Chasm 26L. It was listed as good for bicycling, so I figured it would be good for use on a motorcycle as well. It is a great option for this, didnt flop around while on the road. The straps made it easy to wear it snug- it would have been nice to have somewhere to tuck away the excess strap after cinching it. Pros: Stitching looks durable All smaller/ organizational pockets are micro-fiber lined 3 Pen pockets are full-sized (a bigger deal than youd think-- you can fit an Apple pencil in this! Quick access pocket is just the right size, not too big to lose items but not too small to render useless An elevated laptop sleeve keeps a laptop from getting damaged if the bag is set down too hard on its bottom Cons Only 3 admin pockets in the front compartment 2smaller slip pockets and one larger Bottom of the bag collapse to easily which prevents the bag from standing upright while loading or unloading the bag The only way to set the bag down without it falling over is to set it on its side after removing your water bottle The base of the bag has weather-resistant material that doesnt feel durable enough Overall I like this bag a lot (FAR more than the similar Osprey bags I tried) and will continue to use it.
