Not bad for 1st try. It was a hit at Easter. 1st you need to prewash your100% cotton shirts. Then soak in soda ash water for about 30 minutes. Squeeze out excess water. Let sit for 24hrs in ziplock bag. Then rinse in cold water and wash in dye setting detergent. After I wore it I machine washed inside out in cold water/line dry. Faded slightly. Kit should do 10-12 adult shirts.

This was one of the best values I could find! My wife and daughter absolutely loved how their shirts came out! I got the 12 bottle set and have plenty left for more shirts. Will definitely purchase again.

The dye bled through everything and did not dye as many shirts as stated it would. Otherwise my daughter had fun being creative even if the shirts look funny.

This tie dye kit was very inexpensive. Super easy to use and good enough for probably 5 to 6 different items depending on the size. The colors were very vibrant during the dying. It was so easy to use this kit because it came with the rubber bands. All we had to do was put the appropriate amount of water marked in the pre-filled bottles and shake. It does also come with gloves which was helpful but they are not the best fitting gloves for bigger hands. All in all I would purchase this kid again because this was super easy and the items turned out really cool. Even after washing the colors, havent faded horribly. It was a great way to make some unique custom clothing with my teen

I was able to make 7 adult small t-shirts, 6 toddler t-shirts, and 4 pairs of socks with this kit. The kit says it dyes up to 30 projects, but that depends on the size of the projects. I didnt get 30 projects out of it, but it went a long way for 5 bottles of dye. The kit has everything you need and included directions for how to make different patterns that was very easy to follow.

This kit is great for beginners. The powder is already in the bottle, so no worries about spilling the powder all over the place. It is very easy to mix & use. I used all but 3 colors (black, brown & dk. blue). The colors DO fade after washing. Maybe soaking items in soda ash (doesnt come with kit & states soda ash isnt necessary) before dying & letting them cure longer? Id say for kids this is good & the bottles are a nice size. I did 3 adult shirts & 2 adult ponchos & had some of the colors left over. I will stick with using Procion dye.
